ZED HEAD has been nominated for BAND OF THE YEAR, in BANDS OF DIXIE, the largest Southern Rock / Blues magazine in Europe!!!
Check out the interview with ZED HEAD'S 'Fogman', in France's Webzine WWW.ROADTOJACKSONVILLE.COM !!!!
THE BOO BENEFIT, IN JEFFERSON, TEXAS, WAS ONCE AGAIN AWESOME AND BIGGER THAN EVER! PICTURES CAN BE SEEN BELOW AND IN THE PHOTO ALBUM!
BOO, THANKS AGAIN FOR LETTING US CONTRIBUTE TO YOUR AMAZING CAUSE! THIS WAS THE LARGEST YEAR YET FOR YOU!!
Zed Head is full blown, full tilt, roots rock played with emotion, balls, conviction, and unbelievable stage presence.
Zed Head includes totally effing hot guitar chops from one of the best live guitarists on earth, Neil Chapman. He is a MUST SEE for any fan of the guitar! Fog Johnny on bass and Terry Martell on the kit form the rock solid rhythm section of Zed Head. These guys have it GOING ON with all three lads contributing to the full vocal spectrum. Of course the band would not be complete without Smilin’ Bob Adams who emphatically compliments Zed Head’s full, powerful sound when he pulls out his weapon...the Blues Harp.
All four of these guys major in excitement and Rock!
Over the past year, Zed Head completed a busy summer schedule of outdoor festivals and concerts. Their shows included the Toronto Distillery District’s Parti-Gras, the first annual Wasaga Beach Fest, the Barrie Waterfront Blues Festival, the prestigious Terry Fox Run for Cancer concert at Toronto City Hall, the Toronto Beaches Jazz Festival and the Belleville, River Front Festival. They also featured front and centre for Hawg Zone's summer reunion as well as the Winter fun get-together for motorcycle enthusiasts all over the United States and Canada. Included in this summer event was the Memorial ride and performance for the late little Lauren Gilles. On an international note, the band toured the southern United States where they were honoured once again to headline the annual Boo Benefit (Bikers for Burn Victims), in Jefferson, Texas. This past summer saw the largest number of bikes attended and bucks donated for the summer camp for burn victims. Truely a worthy cause and well worth the trip and the contribution.
Other points of interest for Zed Head included guest appearance on Breakfast Television and featured audio and video spots on Global Television’s “Biker TV.” This nationally televised half hour of motorcycle mania served to illustrate Zed Head’s penchant for Harleys, Humbuckers, and Hot Roots Rock!
Recorded by Terry Brown at the "Blister Factory" in Toronto, Paul LaChapelle at " Quest Studios" in Oshawa, and Sean Munavish at "Studio B" in Scarborough, their album, TEXAS CUFFLINKS seriously SMOKES. Zed Head is presently enjoying radio play on stations from all over Europe, North America, Australia and all points in between thanks to RadiodirectX.
Whether in a concert hall, a stadium, or in your favourite club, Zed Head brings the party atmosphere and DELIVERS for your event’s success. Look for your new favorite band, Zed Head, and their recently released, smoking CD, Texas Cufflinks, available via this website or at a Zed Head show!

CD REVIEWS:
"Quite simply...ZEDHEAD! zedhead! My God Guys what you have here is one super fine farther humping good time in yer face boogie! It really puts to shame those southerners (Ed's note: ZED HEAD loves southerners AND their Dixie tunage!). I play tracks from your cd every, and I mean every week on my Shades Of Blue programme. So over the last month or so, the whole cd has been played and I've been getting requests by the handful, demanding MORE ZEDHEAD and I'm more than happy to oblige. You guys are always on me cd player in the car. I LOVE YER!! Gawd love yer!!! And KEEP ON ROCKIN'. Keep the faith!!! -- "Marvelous Marc Field", 94.7 FM, Coral Coast, Australia
“This has to be one of the best examples of southern rock I have heard in ages. The band is tight, the music is damned good and the production excels. The band is very much its own master and is beholden to none other. Go guys!” —Tony Bates, Highlands 100.7 FM, Australia
“This band is HOT! I like the versatility that is displayed on Texas Cufflinks. Each tune has a new subtle style while remaining true to the band’s overall sound. How can a band from the north capture the soul of the south? Who cares, just enjoy!” —The Walrus, 94.1 The Rock Station, Corona, California, USA
“Loved the CD. Zed Head reminds me of a mix of Stevie Ray Vaughn and ZZ Top. They sound like they belong on the Avenue in New Orleans, not Ontario. I’ve worked in both bars and stadiums and this sounds like the type of band I’d love to book. They’d draw a big crowd and keep everyone into it all night long. —Jeremiah McElwain, WFMQ 91.5 FM, Lebanon, Tennessee, USA
“You did a fantastic job at 95.1 THE PEAK's presentation of the Wasaga Beachfest. Your smoking Texas blues brought out the sunshine...and it was an honour to be made an honorary member of Zedhead, (the T-shirt will be worn with pride!) Can't wait to do that again!!!” —John Eaton, 95.1 FM, Collingwood Ontario, Canada
“Texas Cufflinks is an awesome CD! It is impossible to keep still listening to this record! “Fast ford Freddy” makes you want to just get up and move, and keep moving!!!”” - Lucy Piller, Web master and promotional liason for Paul Rodgers (FREE, Bad Company), Atlanta, Georgia, USA:

Hey, I don't know if I could handle you guys, you look seriously intense. Getting close to you would probably involve some mayhem and possible anarchial aftermath, followed by an extensive period of rehabilitation. You guys need a very reputable manager with some very deep pockets and some higher connections. I'm still a little guy looking for work, possible in the film industry. But ah give me a call back and we can talk about it - what your expectations are...what my expectations are. All the best. - Ken C :)
Hey Fogger, I was thinkin bout you when I spun Senior Pablo Rogers. I figured I'd coax a response from ye. I appreciated your comment about getting back from Vegas. Your commentary is always a delight to read my friend. I am to the point now, where I can only respond to my original friends like yourself because I am so overwhelmed with email. It's about time I get off my arse and start making a few bucks off this gig..If not. I need to hang up the head sets, pick up the sticks, and dust off the ol DW kit. Don't ever change my friend! Cow
