Zero Point Energy is the lowest possible energy a system can have, this energy cannot be removed from the system. Photo: Sevenene. Live @ Piksel, Bergen.
::|::GENERAL INFO::|::
I use my home brewed DiY controllers and strobe lights for my performances. Basically I stick sensors on my body and move about and they control sound and visuals.
I use various accelerometers, photocells, Arduino, hacked stuff, diy stuff, Pure Data, stretch sensors, BasciStamp, push buttons, Xbee, fabrics, shape memory alloys, and some other bits and pieces I can get my hands on. Photo: Andrew Crowe. Live @ BeyondSignal2, Area10.
::|::PERFORMANCE::|::
I have performed in many places from squats to town halls; from beaches to academic institutions; from pub cellars to festivals. Some events I have performed at have been Piksel Festival, Pulse Festival, Placard Headphone Festival, Tweak Festival, No Fixed Abode, IllFM, ResonanceFM, OpenLab, RoundHouse Theatre, LOSS Livecode, Temporary Autonomus Arts. Wooohaaaaa!!! Braindrop is throwing its very first boat party on Saturday 6 June.
The vessel is specially equipped to hold large groups of people (and all the extra bass bins we can squeeze on). Her name is The Dutch Master and she be a mighty fine boat too!
It's going to be ridiculously fun rinse up. However, if you think you can get away with being remotely serious and/or cool at this party - ye be mistaken. The Braindrop Boat Rave is fancy dress: Pirate's from the 80's. Arrgh...better get thinkin what ye gonna wear.
D&B / DUBSTEP / TECHNO / BREAKS / ELECTRO / HARDCORE / HIP HOP / GABBA / BREAKCORE / PSYTRANCE / RAVE... and lots more!
Tickets are £20 and you can get them from TICKETWEB.
Tanzmuzik's inaugural event will be at the Orwell on the 8th, from 8pm-2am. We have Unaesthetic (Unaesthetic), SpeakMarauder(Brave Exhibitions, Little Flower Congregation) Alex B (Leech Woman, Sick & Twisted) and Andrew Trail (Knifeladder, AntiValium) on the decks, playing:

Straight from the underground, wisely turning dubstep into breakstep, Mobthrow bridles upbeat breaks and twisted bass frequencies, in a unique combination of raw power and dark atmospheres. Even though tags are useless when such ceaseless beauty flows throughout this ultra-heavy explosion, new-jazz, techno, ambient, IDM, amen breaks and tons of bass are only some of the directions, in which Mobthrow unfolds his stunning technique.
Check it out! I wrote a free book on music production! It's for total beginners, but if you aren't new to music production, maybe you'll still learn something... at least you can send it to your friends who always want to ask you a billion questions about music production! It's totally free too; my goal with this is to accumulate as many BFF's as possible.
