A highly in demand musician and session player, Yutaka plays bass for 'The Deadlies'(www.thedeadlies.net), and for 'Glacier Hiking & Hamilton'. He has shared the stage with T-Pain, One Republic, David Cook, Golden State (ex. Paloalto) & Blue Sky Reality. He has peformed with the likes of Frost, Eric Jones (Lindsey Lohan), and Kelly King (Rihanna). He has worked with Victoria Blake(VBM) and Arnold Stiefel (Stiefel Management). ZiKOS which he began in the summer of '09, represents Yutaka's own side projects with Mami & Koji. His many talents include songwriting, arranging, producing, engineering, mixing, mastering, & performing (bass, guitar, keys & programming). Some of his engineering teachers include the notable Grammy Award recording engineer & mixer, Reggie Dozier (Justin Timberlake, Mary J, Blige, Temptations...), & Anne Catalino (Whitney Houston, Sheryl Crow, Kanye West...) who engineered two Grammy Award winning albums ~ Best Contemporary Gospel Album (Yolanda Adams) and Best Traditional R&B Album (Gladys Knight). Yutaka expresses his Japanese roots in his music and in his collaborations with his musician friends out of which came ZiKOS. "Zikos" means "Musicians" in French slang. -
