MySpace a place for friends

When Blood & Lipstick started weekly band nights at Bar Blu in Rhyl on Wednesdays in March 2003, no-one (least of all B&L himself) expected them to become an integral part of the town's nightlife.

However, until June 2007 they were unrivalled as a regular midweek night out on the North Wales coast, and only came to a halt as a result of disputes with the venue over the PA.

A summer-long stint at the Honey Club took the nights to new levels but a refusal by the venue to invest in a PA led to a return to Blu and, after the demise of that venue, an ill-advised residency at Rain.

Now it is time to return those Wednesday nights to their former glory with a new residency here at Zu.

Blood & Lipstick will once more be manning the decks, playing an intoxicating mix of indie, rock, metal, punk, emo and anything else that takes his fancy as well as presenting the best local, national and international live talent on the circuit.
