zuexeus is the last of many monikers of north carolina post punker chris murray. after playing for suburban propain, hardware and cornelius, post guitar/drum residuals went into solitary studio demos labeled captain speky. these songs eventually made it into living rooms and basements in the late 90's as a live show under the guise of many masks and monikers such as "lizardman", "the proto", "rubber noses and rainbow wigs" and ultimately "zuexeus". most recordings tend to sound like an actual band, but live shows are more of an attempt to meld pixels and polymers with metallic guitars and mechanical rhythms.
Thank you for tagging me in that photo. I am disappointed, however, that my true identity, a ladder-climbing business asswipe, has truly been revealed. Thanks a lot, man.
Looking forward to Saturday. I haven't seen you play since a show in 1999 or 2000 or 2001 at the Percolator in Greenville. Which was a long time ago. Gonna be a blast!
