ZX Spectrum is a death'n'roll band from Latvia. The band was founded in 2000, but has undergone major line up changes since then. The current members are: Kosta (guitars, vocals), Anthony (guitars), Roman (bass), Vadim (drums).
Musically ZX Spectrum has gone all the way from its original alternative metal sound to the heavily Carcass' influenced stage to its present incarnation.
The band's first full-length recording Human Herd (2005) reflects on genre pioneers Carcass' late albums Heartwork and Swansong.
The latest release Optimistic Views EP (2008) continues to blend groovy tunes and heavy riffs with aggressive lyrics and Jeff Walker style vocals.
To date the band has toured extensively in the Baltics and in Finland.
