We used to run a monthly electro trash/techno/dance club night @ The Cellar, Oxford called Abort, Retry, Fail? for two years. It was much fun but all good things come to an end (check out the link in our Top Friends for all the memories). We may do one off shows in the future. Maybe.

Some records released = some people got excited;
Limited edition 7" singles, "The Lost Souls Club / Violence" and "I KnOw / Bangkok" (Velocity Recordings) and an album "Refute Fake Icons" (Velocity Recordings).
Some airplay achieved = we got excited; 3 month play listed by Rodney Bingenheimer on KROQ in LA, championed by Claire Sturgess on XFM in London, plays on numerous local and college stations and for good measure airplay in Spain, Italy, France, Germany and Serbia.
Gigs = Support slots with Bloc Party, TV On The Radio, The Zutons, Friendly Fires, Tom Vek, The Young Knives, Shy Child, Metronomy, Zoot Women, a slot at Truck Festival and a tour of Italy to name but a few (some people were still excited).
Then there was our club night…Abort, Retry, Fail? Two years of beats, DJs...and Crime. Beats are good, although all good things come to an end don't they?
Now...new album nearly finished (release planned for early '10) and live shows to follow. Time to get the machine working again. Hopefully some more people will get excited x

Romborama is the fruit of one day of shooting and two and a half months of scratching, torment, solitude, anxiety and inspiration…. To achieve the right degree of confusion.
I lacerated 15000 frames on a 35mm film.
Then I added letraset, colour and in the end I applied the screentones, used by designers to emphasize the colour contrast.
