3rd were born in January 1998 out of Delirio, a well-known Italian thrash metal band from the 90s. After few months we released their first two track-demo that gains the magazines' approval: the music we play is a personalized post thrash with different influence from Machine Head to Alice in Chains.
In 1999 thanks to M.Fontaine's Whiplash Productions 3rd publish their first EP "Nonexistence" distributed by 99th Floor. It gains excellent critics and the band popularity increases; at the top of this magic moment an exclusive interview for PSYCHO magazine within a report about the five most important new Italian underground metal bands. In 2000 3rd publish a new 3 track-EP ("Highest Human Form") produced by Raptures Asylum in Cagliari, which testifies a further evolution the sound is more "up-to-date" and there is a greater interest in melodic refrain. The resulting product is a "straight in your face" album though it's different from the rest of the standard metal things. In 2002 there is a change in the line-up: Tullio Carleo (ex God of Sadness) leaves its role in the band to the former drummer Guido Torres (Unpure). The new drummer helps 3rd music become more aggressive: the final step of this evolution is the new coming promo released in February 2003. The 4 tracks of the promo are 100% pure f*****g energy, with electronic inserts and great melodic parts. 2005 it’s the year of the news:Mario Iuliano, 18 and talented drum player, becomes our new drummer. In only three months we write six new songs and decide to record our first full length album called “D Day”. More aggressive but still melodic…furious metal with “fusion” like solos…this is our music..this is 3rd in 2006… We are currently kickin’ asses on stage alongside Italy…our new video is coming out in October 2006…watch it out on our Myspace and on our website www.3rdweb.it
Questa volta forse possiamo far accadere qualcosa di speciale. Le Piccole Iene di Romagnano Sesia (NO), il locale che in meno di un anno e mezzo ha fatto suonare PIU' di 300 (TRECENTO) gruppi in ambito rock/indie/metal/alternative HA CHIUSO. Sono centinaia i commenti di persone disperate per la chiusura di quello che in poco più di un anno è riuscito a diventare un punto di riferimento per la musica alternativa, dall'indie rock al metal e via dicendo.
Non perdiamo altro tempo in chiacchiere: Sono circa 10000 (diecimila) i tesserati de Le Piccole Iene...tutti tesserati GRATUITAMENTE. Se anche solo il 10% si muove (ovvero 1000 persone) potremmo fare una bella sorpresa ai ragazzi del locale. Questo ovviamente non preclude l'aiuto di un non tesserato, anzi!
