9th Plague is currently on hold (and probably won't return). As I have always used this profile for both my personal use and to promote 9th Plague, I decided to hang on to it.
Who am I then? My name is Tony Richter. I was born back in 1972 and I have three passions in life: DEATH, CHAOS and THE DEVIL.
DEATH is representing my musical preference, death metal. I discovered metal music in 1984 through Iron Maiden and moved on to thrash a couple of years later when I heard Possessed. But it wasn’t until 1989 when I heard “Altars of madness” by Morbid Angel that I truly found my musical home. I entered the underground in the early 90's and have more or less been active in it ever since. Either in bands such as Gardens of Obscurity, The Darksend or 9th Plague or by doing Nekrologium zine & webzine for a while. I am currently involved in a band called Undecayed, which is, at least at the moment, more of a hobby than an attempt at world domination. Simply because its members are all 30+ and have other things going on in their lives. Although I don’t perform that much at the moment, I still love death metal and collect records like a madman.
CHAOS is representing a person whom I met in 2006 who became very important to me and who opened my eyes to a lot of things. Before meeting her, I was a very cynical person with a misanthropic disposition and kind of liked it that way. I was very selective with whom I chose to associate with and was something of a loner. I didn't really care how I was perceived or how I looked. Meeting this person made me realize I had to make some changes in my life. She made me want to improve and grow as a person and become a better man. And I also realized there was someone whom I actually wanted to spare from a possible worldwide genocide that I, in theory, thought that humanity deserved. Why I think of chaos as representing her is personal, but I am eternally grateful to her and I will love her for this as long as I live.
THE DEVIL has a double meaning to what it represents. It could represent my past spiritual inclination. I have always had an interest for religions, Satanism and the occult. And as I never liked the effect the recognized religions had on people I chose to fight them through the lyrics that I wrote for my bands. I never thought of myself as a Satanist or a devil-worshipper but naturally, the Devil was a powerful symbol in this fight. I still oppose religions and agree with a lot of the philosophy of Satanism, but this fight is not as important to me these days. It could also represent my support for football team Manchester United (who are known as the Red Devils). Either way is fine by me.

Recorded + mixed + engineered + ruined by A.P Filthgrinder himself in his home studio. The raw drum tracks recorded at Pertama Music Studio. Except for "Ignorance of Humanity" drum track recorded with Roland V-drums at Filgrinder's house.
The MCD released to heat up the art of aggression before the Full length album come out. The mixture of old creations/styles/genres from Death Metal, Thrash, Grindcore, Dark and Groove riffs gathered to express our innerself.
