| General | The 3 people behind Everything Above And Beyond
Kim: I have 2 booths on Bonanzle KimsKorner & then KimsKornerBooks,I also am in charge of running the website, myspace page, and most advertising. I had started my own eBay again separate from the WAHM partnership with Michelle but I only auction there once on a blue moon now I am wahmsaboveandbeyondauctions on eBay.
Michelle: She runs Above-N-Beyond-Auctions on eBay. Usually can always find her selling something or many things there on auction or fixed price. She also runs a booth on Bonanzle and is GrandmasCloset there. Michelle and I have been friends for over 10 years now for a few years we were selling as a WAHM partnership on eBay on her account. This is the time period when "Everything Above And Beyond" was born.
Mike: My loving other half. He works hard on listing books in our Amazon bookstore. I help him sometimes with the listing but it is mainly him. I do the packaging and shipping end of it and advertising. Way over a thousand books listed and counting.

About me:
We are Everything Above And Beyond.You can find all of us on Bonanzle, You can find Michelle on eBay as well, and sometimes find me there too but not nearly as much. You can find Myself and Mike on Amazon. Just cruise this myspace page to find us everywhere!
This started out over 10 years ago when I was selling on eBay & Yahoo auctions doing drop shipping and other items from yard sales. I fell in love with online auctions. Eventually I began mostly selling books on eBay but then left the online auction community for a couple of years way back when eBay changed their book categories. Books just were not selling as well anymore and I became discouraged.
Going back again in the way way back time machine I ran a network on Ryze.com called the Loves To eBay Network. It was so much fun and we had the LTEN super sellers where everyone would start auctions at 99 cents with no reserve. Also around the same time I ran a WAHM resource site called WAHMS This and That.
Those days had come and gone. Upon coming back to online auctions I teamed up with my friend Michelle whom is a work at home Grandma. We sold for years and years together on eBay until I had branched out again with my own eBay account. eBay has changed so much though over the years I find myself not wanting to play the game with all the fees. It frustrates me that eBay owns PayPal so we are actually paying them once to list, twice with final value fee, 3 times the flat fee on each payment accepted through paypal and then 4 times with the percentage fee of total of payment received on paypal. So the eBay Gods get paid 4 times. If you own a store make that 5 times because of paying the monthly store fee. If that was not enough they started the DSR's - detailed seller ratings. They don't work to say the least. I think it is fishy also that they do not show how many stars someone left for you. I don't see why they would not. I mean they show feedback a buyer leaves you and its not like sellers can retaliate with bad feedback to the buyers so why not show us which transactions someone was unhappy with and in what area this way we would know where we need to improve? I think I know why. Unless there is something to hide. You know if you get over a certain amount you get discounts, well funny how hardly anyone can get over that amount. Then theres the not being able to leave HONEST feedback about buyers. I believe sellers should have some kind of idea what buyers to look out for. There are lots of dishonest buyers out there too.
EXAMPLE: I sold a gift card, a big one at that. Now as everyone knows you cannot put deliver confirmation on a small envelope. I figured I would play it smart and packed the giftcard in a box then put in a big manila envelope so I could get DC on it. Low and behold still after over a month after sending the buyer messages me they did not receive. I sent a message back showing when it was shipped. DC # and when it was delivered. NEVER heard another thing back. BUT in the new eBay land had I not put DC on that. I would have been out over 100$ and not been able to even warn other sellers.
SO WHAT HAVE I DONE? I have started selling mainly on a site called BONANZLE. Its friendly, easy to use, free to list and has many nice features such as a chat in your booth so you can speak to customers in real time. The members there all promote the site and its a big happy community. Sellers can list things at lower prices because they are not getting killed with fees. The site owners respond to emails within 24 hours PERSONALLY not an auto response. I decided this is where I want to be. It is NOT auctions but that is okay. eBay and other sites are obviously doing away with that fun and exciting auction style that made them what they are anyways. But you can make offers on Bonanzle to sellers. And add things to your cart and make an offer on the whole thing, items price and shipping. I have fallen in love with BONANZLE. I still list on the other site now and again but when the auctions die completely out I will not be there at all anymore. Hope to see you all over on Bonanzle buyers & sellers alike!
NOW IN CASE YOUR WONDERING THE REASON WE ARE EVERYTHING ABOVE AND BEYOND - well its simple we try to go above and beyond. It started with Michelle & I, then my honey Mike's Amazon store joined in with the above and beyond name, and now my own eBay is also part of above and beyond. Hence we have now become EVERYTHING ABOVE AND BEYOND.
Michelle & I have different names on Bonanzle BUT same theory still in play WE BELIEVE IN GOING ABOVE AND BEYOND. I am KimsKorner there and she is GrandmasCloset.
This is where my about me on myspace ends but not where the story ends, this is where it begins and continues on. Parents working from home, enjoying spending time with their kids and doing all that we can to keep the bills paid and have fun doing it.

We get our items from family, friends, auctions, garage sales, estate sales, etc. anywhere we can hunt down treasures. Some things we buy out in bulk and are brand new. Items will always state if they are new or used and their condition. Some of the items you will find we have been given to sell for estates/non-sellers. You are bound to find some very interesting items with us so always check back often.
