On the new record it's: Dave Hower (drums), Anand Nayak (upright bass), Dave Chalfant (bass, electric guitar), Jazer Giles (accordion/rhodes), Jacob Henry Jolliff (mandolin), Erin Eichenberger (vocals), Joel Bock (guitar), Tracy Grammer (fiddle), Jim Henry (dobro), and The Primate Fiasco (dixieland sweetness). Oh yeah, Adam Sweeney sings and plays guitar and banjo, and that's how you'll usually see him... er, me that is... whatever.

BIO:
Indie folksinger Adam Sweeney has returned to his gritty Northwest roots after spending the last three years courting the decadent New England scene. He comes bearing a new sound that puts a decidedly more electric spin on his traditional folk and country based compositions. His latest release, Technicolor Halo, features an all-star backing band of progressive New England folkies including Dave Chalfant (The Nields), Dave Hower (Winterpills), Jake Jolliff (Joy Kills Sorrow), and Tracy Grammer.
ADAM SWEENEY: Technicolor Halo
Stories of chosen sinners and runaway saints, laced with rickety banjo and sparkling mandolin.
Hi Sweeney! I'm going to be in PDX this weekend, hoping to catch a show tomorrow night. I see you're not playing. Any suggestions of who to see in a pub somewhere?

hey man! so...noah and i are finishing up a special project (ahem) this week, and i posted a rough track from it on my page... think you might like it :)... also, i think i may have told you the wrong day for my saturday concert in portland a few days back--i am really sorry about that, and i hope you didn't meander out there on sunday... however, i will be in town again this sunday, and it'd be great to hang out a bit... peace, seth
Aahh! Can't wait for the new stuff! How are you? I heard that Oregon has really good housing prices, but only because there are very few jobs. The minute I heard that, I knew Oregon was too good to be true.
hey adam, if you and sarai aren't doing anything tonight, come on down to books on 23rd (or is it 23rd ave books? same place)--i'm opening and closing a friend's book reading there... peace, seth
