Adam Wayne was born and raised in South-Eastern Minnesota. Growing up he was intrigued by racing. Racing karts for nearly 8 years in Iowa,Kansas and Minnesota and Later to be the youngest on the track at the age of 16, racing dirt-cars. Just a dream away from winning the Daytona 500.
Watching his older brother play in his band, Adam found himself pickin up the bass and playing along. He plays a d-16gt Martin guitar with a Fishman pick-up. Adam also likes electric guitars but for the most part is an acoustic player. For you that don't know, this kid has more songs that you could shake a stick at. From Love,Drinkin,Friends, to just being a down home country boy. He found his voice at a young age. A very strong projecting voice with a rocky country edge. Self taught, at the age of 16 Adam started putting these skills together. He writes all of his songs as he would recall,"in the moment''. Playing his guitar and putting a lyric to a melody. When not singing Adam enjoys Hunting,Fishing,Traveling,Automobile Racing.
When Adam first got to Nashville, Tennesse he started bouncing and singing at the world's number one honky tonk, "Tootsies". Movies filmed at Tootsie’s include “W.W. & the Dixie Dance Kings” starring Bert Reynolds, “Coal Miner’s Daughter” about Loretta Lynn and starring Sissy Spacek, and “The Nashville Rebel” starring Tex Ritter, Porter Wagoner, Faron Young, Loretta Lynn, The Wilburn Brothers, and Waylon Jennings. Willie Nelson got his first songwriting gig after playing Tootsies and also lived above the bar.
Playing in about every single venue and writers night for nearly two years in Nashville, Adam has met alot of mentors that mean the world to him. Every day he learns something new about the craft of songwriting and the artistry of the Music Industry. Adam's now currently looking forward to record a new album this coming summer followed by his first single.
