NIRVANA'S: my first influance in the world of music had to have been Tori Amos. she's the artist that broke me of my bad music phase. (i dont care what anyone says, EVERYONE liked the Spice Girls and the Backstreet Boys at one point) her albums were constantly playing in the background of my childhood. this is where i really learned to sing, just singing along to a Tori Amos CD. another big influance has been Fiona Apple, because she has such a different range of vocals that are deeper and more powerful than Tori. i practiced singing along to her music, and i began to develop more power in my voice. a huge influance of mine latly has been Ani Difranco. i have just recently become addicted to Ani Difranco, because of her unique guitar parts and writing style. i also have to give big thanks to Monique Lanier, a local artist and the mother of one of my best friends. she showed me that it could be done, that you could do something in the music world without selling your soul to the devil. some others that have influanced me have been alanis moresette, red hot chili peppers, coldplay, beck, queen, sublime, bob marley, led zeppelin, diana krall, depeshe mode, foo fighters, the police, sting, violent femmes, cake, M, beastie boys, frou frou, Dalia, Iron & Wine, the postal service, the shins, the dresden dolls, cat stevens (a childhood favorite. i thought i could actually ride on the peace train), death cab for cutie, Felina!!!!! debi graham band, ben harper, dar williams, everclear, jessi robertson, secily, lauren wood, Raining Jane, Cary Judd, regina spector, massive attack, Q stands for Q, nickel creek, sarah mchlachlan, U2, rem, brenda whieler, and much much much more yet to be found. | | Sounds Like |

| About Adeitia |
An Acoustic Folk rock Duo, both musician singer songwriters, playing in the local SLC area. Formed in November 2004, just 3 weeks after forming, they began playing numerous shows. Their first full length album Six Cents Sharp came out in June 2006, they did a short mini tour to support it meeting up with the Lovely FELINA www.myspace.com/felinamusic for their own CD release.
