Biography My name is Alejandro Hernandez Hernandez ,born july-25 -1973 in Jalisco,Mexico When i was a child,in the 70's,in home my big brothers,listen to rock music,from the beginning always beign there rock,all my whole life,but right after in the 80's,
I was very interesting in drawing,comics,graphic design,etc,
I was listening a lots of music,but I've no thinking about play any musical instrument,I have no musicians parents.
In the 87',my brother Chema have got about a year playing drums and also he knows play some chords in guitar, (I didn't play nothing¡), and I just follow him singing some tunes,for me it's my very beginning,after of a rehearsal of my brother's first group,he wasn't there and I feel desire to sit in the drums place and I'd try to carry on the beat of the song –“Gloria” of The Doors,when we stop,I felt so diferent,there I'd experimented the real desire to learn to play seriuosly…
in the 88',Chema tell me don't' play drums,learn to play another instrument-
(I've always love the drums¡) ,and I saw what's goin' to do: I start to practice with the bass guitar,and the same time the guitar,but at the beginning I'll take more attention to the bass,this instrument was lend because I have no money for buy a bass less a guitar… along the time,I pay attention enough time for both guitar and bass,because I've always got a ideas for both even at this day.
I didn't go to any college of music,never,I didn't receive any musical lessons,I was autodidact,the metod was plays along with: videos,cd's,cassettes,etc.,
(when I see for the very first time Yngwie Malmsteen playing in video,I was think: this guy it's impossible¡…I still think the same)
With the time I've learn tablature,etc. but no read music,this metod didn't change this day,I just follow the advance of the technology,for me there's no trick the key it's still Practice,practice,practice¡,the natural desire to play music,you must know what you wanna play,got passion and technique,belief in yourself,it's very important,and I believe it's very bad don't be trust with yourself…
In 1990,I'd join a heavy metal band called- “La Divina Comedia”, I having 17 years old,they 26 average,just rehearsals,no shows only 3,the drummer have a trouble with me,I got nothing to do that,a very stupid guy, then I quit…
Right after I was playing with a lot bands,trying to get some money,and also i try luck with bands with original stuff,but there's nobody accept my own ideas.
Sick and tired of this situation I decide to form my own proyect called: “Capricornus”… In 93' I start to work in a demo based in my own ideas,wiches was born in 91',and at the same time I was working with covers band to order to get money…
I've made a lot of recordings of Capricornus between 1993-2000,but I never have the chance to form a real band,less play live,in fact I play all the stuff in the recordings.
At the same time I continue to do rehearsals,playing live with covers bands,good musicians sometimes bad ones,I start to work as a session musician,and I never felt:”I know too much..”,never¡¡¡¡,all the time is search and learn, I continue practice…
2000 my brother Chema,joins in the venture of Capricornus,he gives me a support as drummer,and producer,and we start a new aliance,now we got a trilogy of cd's recorded together: “The New World Order”-2001, ,”In The Name Of GOD”-2003 and “The Cosmic Inner Circle”-2006, little by little we made a better recordings,more professional and right now we can play a live shows with the addition of Ivan Pizaña,bass player..

David T. Chastain in 1994,with I get the job of guitar tech of him,a very grateful experience,I gave him a Capricornus tape and I think he like it.
Marty Friedman in 1996 it was so great,I gave him too a Capricornus tape,he send me later a letter contains a good words wiches I appreciatte my whole life¡
Michael Angelo Batio,Stu Hamm,Derek Sherinian,what a great guys¡ it was such a true honor for me meet my idols¡ I still am a fan¡… I said for Ace Frehley of Kiss and Eddie Van Halen they fueled me up to play a guitar in this case I love this both great guitar players and too:

I played since 1998 to this day,never stoping,in a lot of places,across my country Mexico,from 1000 to 10000 crowd,not with Capricornus,but I'd play 2 times in the Auditorio Nacional,a very important place in Mexico,not with a rock band but no one can do that easily…
I play: electric guitars- 6 and 7 strings,alternate tunnings,acoustics- nylon,steel,6 and 12 strings,slide,bass 4,5,6 strings,freetless bass,some drums,some keyboards,I 100% singer,I can adjust guitars and bass… I can do a lots of studio works like: producing,arregements,song writter,audio enginneer-(live,studio,mixing,etc.)
My fave amps (guitar or bass): Marshall,Peavey,Crate,Behringer,ampeg.

mi nombre es Alejandro Hernandez Hernandez naci el 25 de Julio de 1973,
en Sta. Maria,Jalisco,Mexico.
desde pequeño en los 70's en casa mis hermanos mayores ya ponian discos de rock,
en si desde siempre ha habido rock en mi vida,pero en los 80's,me interesaba mucho
el dibujo y el diseño grafico,escuchaba mucha musica pero nada de pensar en tocar algun instrumento,no tuve padres o parientes musicos.
en el 87',mi hermano Chema tenia un año tocando bateria y sabia tocar algunos acordes de guitarra (yo no sabia ni tocar la puerta) y yo lo acompañaba cantando unos temas-en si esto es con lo que empeze,despues en un ensayo de su grupo de mi hermano,el no estaba, y me sente en la bateria a tratar de llevar el ritmo con los demas de la banda,en la cancion "gloria" de los Doors,despues me senti diferente,ahi empezo el verdadero deseo de aprender a tocar en serio.
en el 88' mi hermano no queria a otro baterista (siempre me ha gustado ese instrumento) ,asi que vi que podia hacer: empeze a practicar con el bajo y tambien con la guitarra,pero le di mas atencion al principio al bajo y eso prestado porque no tenia para comprar ni guitarra ni bajo.con el tiempo dedique atencion a ambos instrumentos,porque siempre tuve ideas para ambos.
jamas fui a una escuela de musica,ni recibi lecciones por un profesor,el metodo de auto-aprendizaje fue,tocar con los videos beta de la epoca,con los discos,etc.,(veia videos por ejemplo de Malmsteen y pensaba que era imposible tocar como el, y lo sigo pensando).
con el tiempo aprendi cifrado,tablatura,etc.,y este sistema no ha cambiado mucho en la actualidad,solo actualizandome con la tecnologia,creo que todo tiene que ver con practicar mucho,mucho¡ el deseo natural de tocar,saber que es lo que quieres tocar,tener pasion y tecnica,creer en lo que haces es muy importante,y creo que es muy malo querer ser como alguien que no seas tu mismo.
en el 90',me uni como bajista de "La Divina Comedia"-banda de metal,tenia 17 y ellos 26 promedio,apenas y tocamos hasta tuve problemas con su baterista,un tipo realmente mediocre.despues estuve tocando con grupos para ganar dinero,y habia probado suerte con varias bandas de musica original,pero nadie aceptaba mis ideas,cansado de esto forme mi propio proyecto: "Capricornus",en el 93',trabaje en un demo basado en composiciones propias,que estaba trabajando desde el 91',y seguia trabajando en grupos de ganar dinero.
grabe un monton de canciones de Capricornus del 93' al 2000,pero durante ese tiempo nunca tuve oportunidad de promocionar mi banda,porque no habia banda tal,yo tocaba todos los instrumentos en todas las grabaciones.
al mismo tiempo seguia ensayando, tocando mucho para ganar dinero con buenos musicos y a veces con malos,tambien empeze a trabajar como musico de sesion,y nunca senti que lo sabia todo,aun hoy en dia sigo aprendiendo y practicando.
fue en el 2000 que mi hermano Chema,me empezo a brindar su apoyo como baterista y productor y empezamos una nueva alianza.de esta alianza ya tenemos una trilogia de grabaciones: "The New World Order"-2001,"In The Name Of GOD"-2003,Y "The Cosmic Inner Circle"-2006,hemos mejorado poco a poco en la cuestion de las grabaciones y por fin podemos tocar hoy en dia con la adicion de Ivan Pizaña al bajo.
he tenido oportunidad de conocer a gente de la talla de: David T. Chastain,en el 94' con el trabaje de guitar tech,una experiencia inolvidable,le di una cinta de Capricornus y le agrado. Marty Friedman le conoci en el 96' tambien le obsequie una cinta de Capricornus, y se tomo la molestia de escribirme felicitandome por la grabacion,me hizo muy feliz viniendo de uno de mis idolos¡.
Michael Angelo,cuanto aprendizaje¡un gran tipo super talentoso. Stu Hamm gracias a el toco el slap¡,tipazo,mas grande que muchos que andan por ahi. Derek Sherinian es increible¡ me encantan sus discos,en fin sigo siendo fan,no cualquiera podria decir eso..
digamos por Ace Frehley de Kiss y por Eddie Van Halen soy guitarrista pero tambien soy fan,admiro y mis influencias:

he tocado desde 1988 hasta la actualidad ininterrumpidamente en infinidad de lugares por toda la republica mexicana,desde 100 hasta 10000 personas no con Capricornus desde luego y dire que por lo menos ya toque 2 veces en el auditorio nacional,no con una banda de rock pero es algo...
se tocar: guitarras electricas de 6 y 7 cuerdas en diversas afinaciones alternas,acusticas de 6 y 12 cuerdas,clasicas de nylon,slide guitar,bajos de 4, 5, 6 cuerdas,freetless,un poco de bateria,un poco de teclados,soy cantante 100 %.se octavar guitarras y bajos.
tambien en labores de estudio:se producir,arreglar,componer,ingenieria de audio-(tambien para sonido en vivo),mezclar,etc.
mis guitarras preferidas: Gibson,Fender,Yamaha,Ibañez (no estoy obsesionado con ellas como muchos¡)
