| About Almuadem |
Almuadem are a Portuguese progressive experimental band by Andre Pousadas, Gustavo Marques and Thomas Belpalme that is earning recognition as pioneers of Hyper-sensibility music. Almuadem are known for the philosophical terms, keyboards, guitars and drums experimentation, pos-caos music and innovative cover art.
Andre Pousadas, once commented: "You can label us as you want ... but be aware of a thing in the right of Father there are two chairs, one mine and another one of Gustavo. We do not "use" anything. We "create" everything"

In Cold Chaos Place
Andy Perelman, inhabitant of a dying, morbid city, finds himself estranged from everything and everybody, wandering along a bridge. This inability to belong to anything of all the things around him, leads him to think of suicide as his only escape. Perelman's deep sorrow is depicted in "In Cold Caos Place" parts 1 and 2, where melody fuses with post-human cry. Finally, with tears dripping down his face, he throws himself into a voyage to Nimrodel.
Nymphomania
In this new instance of human condition, Perelman feels disturbed by a strange futility personified in the reinvention of philosophical theories and ideas which culminate in ordinary people. In the second part of the piece, he is at a more evolved model of the filthy fun centres, uncomfortably sitted down looking with despise at apparently human beings who in a sensuous way, show off all their physical attributes, inviting him for moments of ephemeral pleasure. These attitudes cause him to feel repulse, and in an aggressive manner tries to push back all that disturbs him.
Blow Up
The third track on the album resembles an ode to dizimation and humiliation, which represents the total denial of what his senses were able to collect previously.
Dial D for Dream
Completely exhausted and lost, Perelman returns home and turns on the TV hoping to get his mind off all that happened that night. He ends up sleeping on the couch. He dreams he's making contact with a higher being, who invites him to visit the Post-World. During the journey, he is introduced to mathematical and infinite physics games. He also meets the Princess of Post-Nimrodel and faints in her presence. When he comes round, he sees himself standing in a flat very much like his own, and decides to go out. But, as the door opens he sees himself in a totally new world.
Daisie
Daisie represents Perelman’s quest for true and pure love. A new need emerges after reaching emotional plenitude while in the presence of the Princess. So Andy finds himself again walking surrounded by all that is beautiful, but still all that surrounds him is nothing more than a detail supporting himself. The grass excessively green, the irreprehensible singing of the birds, the harmonious odour that invades the air and the melodious sound of pacing footsteps... are purely and simply details of the scenery where Andy roams. Voices then appear, like memories from the recent past that his conscious tries to reduce to mere moments. We are hit in the face by the gases expelled after the reaction between the emotions that Perelman experiences… Pain for the loss of the past and anxiety towards the present. Two extremes that flow in the same direction, searching emotional well-being.
Airam Atir
With green as inspiration, all that Andy has is sad and innocent hope. We can hear Perelman’s inner cry, a lament filled with unsatisfaction… like an animal unlike any of those that exist in our planet. The beautiful becomes irremediably casual, nothing can never be special anymore, after what he has lived. Utterly humiliated by the laughter of his ego, reminding him of the time when he was happy, he becomes a genuine paradox when he puts on the mask of happiness…

Who?
We, inhabitants of a chaotic system. We, both victims and generators of endless butterfly effects. We, musical poets gone out of control, surrounded by unrelated sounds, who facing walls do not see an obstacle, but the open gates into a new future.
What?
In name of the new art, we, Almuadem, cast ourselves into a new journey, to prove that the physical and mental barrier created by all and each one of us is pure and simply an inconvenient to those who want to make worlds move and give wings to chaos. What chaos?
Chaos with a tender face of tenderness, and the incisive and disenchanted look of a minority which reads in itself a manifesto for Art and Beauty.
This is our proposal! This is the true reason! So that future generations may say: They were a step ahead!
