Our own personal statement is the promotion of hemp fabrics. They are environmentally progressive, have amazing textile qualities, and are amazing dyed!
We specialize in hand-dyed hemp fabrics to create our handmade clothing and in our Hemp T-shirts, Tanks Tops, and Hoodies and now you can also purchase our hand-dyed hemp and hemp blend fabrics by the yard!
For us, clothes are a canvas for what we want to say or what we're inspired to say through music, nature, and life. We gain our inspiration from everything around us.

Altered Statement is a family of independent artists specializing in hand dyed hemp fabrics and clothing.
We infuse many different styles and influences with our hand crafted dyeing and sewing techniques and a variety of specialty hemp blend fabrics to bring our own unique, eco-friendly, one of a kind clothing that makes a statement!
We hand dye in low impact dyes, blends of hemp with organic cotton, cotton, tencel, silk and recycled polyester in wovens, knits, silks, and velour fabrics.
In addition to our *eco-boutique* hand made clothing, we also carry a line of hemp/cotton tshirts, tanks, and hoodies that we hand dye and silk screen, as well as a baby's hemp line including hand made baby blankets, and gift sets.
By purchasing from independent artist you are helping support the hands that made it, you're supporting local love and work.
By buying hemp you are helping demand change.
Hemp is a billion+ dollar a year crop.
The USA is currently one of the only progessive/industrial countries that does not produce hemp. It is legal to have hemp products, but it is illegal to produce the hemp to make the product.
The USA imports all hemp products (such as our textiles that we then hand dye and hand craft).
By promoting, supporting, and educating we can change the current laws and keep that billion+ dollars at home, supporting americans. .. ..

Those that want to help educate, support, and promote that hemp can change the world! Like minded individuals and businesses that want to work together to change the industrial cultivation laws in the united states so that this billion+ dollar crop can be grown by US farmers. Those that will help support Independent Artists, made in the USA, hand crafted products.
