DnZ:
The world’s tallest DJ is a myth started by Hip Hop Slam label owner Billy Jam, but to date we haven’t been able to prove otherwise. Until Yao Ming picks up some techs, DnZ will be stuck with the nickname seemingly forever. DnZ will rock everything from KRS to Federation to Nu Shooz to Beyonce… and then people’s faces melt. Halo n00bz watch out. You will get pwned.
Capski:
Vinroc once said that Capski’s scratching “talked to him.”Capski,Or CC Kris as named by DJ Pone, is one of those dudes people look at and wonder how in the hell he does all the crap he does.. Putting out mixes, production… Capski has even been published in Fader magazine. He currently resides in Hawaii where he teaches da yutes during the day, and then makes the wahines dance at night to everything from B’more to Funk, Cassie to Dizzy Rascal.
Zico:

Zico is one of those guys who might not be able to say exactly what he means (he hails from Japan and is here for English school,) but he lets his hands do the talking. Nothing is lost in translation to the people on the dancefloor because beats is beats is beats and booties do the same thing all across the world.
Roza:
The Princess. Them turntables shoot lazers, so watch out. Her passions include future elf boots, dogs, health care reform, and making yo ass dance. She is like a maniacal puppeteer behind the tables… with bangs. Roza drops the heat fayast like a nascar and then hangs left into some soulful goodness so hard it hurts. But it hurts oh so good.
Taka:
Taka is well known at Berkeley as the guy who taught so and so how to DJ. An alumni now, Taka has spent a good portion of his time at college teaching others how to beat match and then frustrating them when they can’t figure out how to do all those “crazy srish skrishhh serwirshhh scratches.” You ever been to a club and been annoyed at the DJ cutting up every song? That ISN’T Taka. No sir… dancefloors rock, and all you hear is the sweet sound of that girl or guy you danced the whole night with, telling you to go home with them. Behind the turntables, Taka is EVERYONE’s wingman.
Wh0?
wh0? Who’s on the tables? uhm yeah. Clichéd comedy skits aside… Wh0? Is a character on and off the turntables. He’ll make you laugh, he’ll make you cry… and then he’ll make you dance. Seriously I've seen a whole crowd of dudebro frat boys go ape shit to Denice Williams- Let’s Hear It For The Boy. Who even has that in his crate? Wh0? Does… (heh heh get it? “who(wh0?) has that in his crate?”….ok ill stop.) But everything from Hip Hop to Soul to Reggae, Wh0? Can spin it. (I need to stop this really bad pun session).
Solace:
It’s hard to pinpoint a specialty for DJ Solace because he is such a chameleon with what he plays. The man does it all and does it all well. He has two stellar mixtapes out, an 80’s one and a Hip Hop one (both of which you can cop at B-Side Records. bsiderecordshop.com) The only thing more fun than Solace behind the turntables is drunk Solace sprawled out on the floor of the Club 6 ticket booth.
Brigidope:
This pic is from when I cared about cutting my hair. Currently I sport the DGF(dontgiveafuck) shag. I eat soup with a spork and will steal your butter tray if you dont watch me too closely. Small mammals amuse me, especially ones that fly. I like the fact that Lil Jon is the host of Pimp My Ride International. If you noticed that my profile is longer than everyone else’s it’s because I wrote this shit. Sue me. It feels kinda pretentious to write a minibio for myself. What am I gonna say, “I’m the super ill shit, book me and my DJing will get you laid?” No I can’t do that… well I suppose I just did… but not really. All I can really say is that I like playing all kinds of isht. I like Hip Hop and it’s been a blessing to be able to spin alongside some of the finest this DJ MECCA of a city has to offer.
