I am leadsinger in the swedish melodic/semi-progressive metal band Cloudscape. I have recorded a few albums and done a few guest appearances but, Cloudscape is my main band. My lifelong lovestory to music began when I was around 5 years old. I started to play piano at the age of 5 so, from then on my life has more or less been dedicated to music. I listen to many different genres like metal, soulfunk, fusion, symphonic orchestrial music, pop music etc but, the genre I like most (depending on my mood) is undoubtley melodic, progressive metal. Bands I..ve grown up listening to are Yngwie J. Malmsteen, Yes, Kansas, Rush, Iron Maiden, Toto, Whitesnake etc etc. The first band I formed was called Zanines together with my childhood friends Peter Wildoer (Darkane, ex Time Requiem) and Christofer Malmström (Darkane, Non-Human Level) back in 1988. I left Zanines in 1991 and was in various local bands until 2001 when I formed Cloudscape together with Bjorn Eliasson (guitars), Patrik Svärd (guitars), Roger "Mini" Landin (drums) and Haynes Pherson (bass).
Except for being the vocalist in Cloudscape I am also the leadsinger in the Swiss progressive metal band called Silent Memorial. Silent Memorial have released one album so far (only in Asia) with Thomas Vikstrom (ex Stormwind, ex Candlemass) on vocals in 1998. In 2005 I was contacted by Chris Haenggi (keyboards) and was asked to give them an audition because they needed a replacement for Thomas Vikström. In early 2006 I recorded all vocals for their second album entitled "Retrospective" in the Roastinghouse studio so, the album was mixed in late 2006/early 2007. Retrospective will be released worldwide in April/May 2009 through German label LMP Limb Music.
Planet Alliance is another band I was kind of a leader in, songwriter and vocalist together with guitarist Magnus Karlsson (Primal Fear, Allen/Lande Project, Starbreaker). Planet Alliance wasn't a genuine live band so, a more appropriate description of Planet Alliance would be to call it a project band which except for Me includes musicians like legendary Bob Daisley (ex Ozzy Osbourne, ex Rainbow), Anders Johansson (ex Yngwie J. Malmsteen, Hammerfall), Magnus Karlsson (Primal Fear, Allen/Lande Project, Starbreaker), Magnus Rosén (ex Hammerfall, X World 5), Carl-Johan Grimmark (Narnia, Rob Rock), Janne Stark (Locomotive Breath, Overdive) + more. So far we have released 1 album (2006) through German label Metal Heaven. If there will be a follow up to this album is too early to say but, who knows...time will tell...
I have also done some guest appearances on various albums (see discography) and the latest one is the solo album by Janne Stark called Mountain Of Power where I sing a 70..s cover song by the band Montrose called "Black Train".
In late 2008 my good friend Magnus Rosén gave me a call and asked me if I was interested in starting up a new band together with him and Stefan Elmgren (ex Hammerfall). Me and Magnus had talked very often about working more together musically since the recording of the Planet Alliance album so, since the timing was right and everything felt interesting I joined Magnus and Stefan. The drummer in Full Force is none less than Anders Johansson (Hammerfall, ex Yngwie J. Malmsteen) and the second guitarplayer is Carl-Johan Grimmark (Narnia). After a competition in Sweden Rock Magazine we decided to name the band FULL FORCE!! We are aiming to have the album ready for release sometime during 2010
Except for being a rocker I'm engaged to my wonderful girlfriend and is a proud father of 2 wonderful kids plus my girlfriends 2 wonderful kids (big family, hehehe). I love to read thriller/horror/fantasy books and my favourite writer/author is Clive Barker. A few books he wrote that I consider classics are Weaveworld, Abarat 1 & 2 and The Damnation Game. I like to travel, be with my friends and of course play with my kids. I..m not much of a TV fan but, it happens that I watch a movie from time to time. Favourite movies are Lord Of The Rings, Hellraiser 1 & 2, Star Wars, Black Rain, The Shining to name a few. I..m also an addict to the Italian espresso brand Lavazza Rossa;). I..m a VERY optimistic person and is driven by positivity. A few things I DON..T like is "dishonest people, false people, wars, pollution, the fact that children in some parts of our world suffers of starving and is living literally in "hell" etc. I could reveal more about myself but, I certainly have to leave something to Your imaginations;)
My 2 favourite albums released in 2008 are: Whitesnake - Good to be bad and Frost - Experiments in a mass appeal
I guess this story will give you a glimpse of who I am...

We feel very proud to announce you that The Fallen Within, a modern metal band from Greece signed a record deal with the italian Coroner Records for the release of the debut album entitled "Intoxicated".
The album, presented as an avant garde massive work influenced by the
american metalcore and scandinavian melodic scene using also some
atmospheric elements, was produced & arranged by Bob Katsionis from
FIREWIND and Gio S. and mixed & mastered by Ahti Kortelainen at
Tico Tico Studio in Finland.
The album will be released in December via Coroner Records!

Missade tyvärr Cloudscape när ni var på Zaragon här i Jönköping. Hade varit fint annars. Du har som vanligt många järn i elden ser jag. Ska bli väldigt spännande att höra vad det blir av Full Force(full fräs?). En trevlig sammansättning människor.
