Basically all good metal from the 70's up ..til this present date but, a few bands worth mentioning might be Judas Priest, Yngwie J. Malmsteen, Black Sabbath, Helloween, Iron Maiden, Dream Theater, Queensryche etc etc etc
FULL FORCE was formed in early 2009 by members Magnus Rosén (ex Hammerfall, X World 5), Stefan Elmgren (ex Hammerfall) and Mike Andersson (Cloudscape, Planet Alliance). When Magnus and Stefan left Hammerfall they often talked about starting up a new band together but, due to lack of time it didn’t happen until early 2009 when Magnus gave Mike a phone call and asked him if he was interested in starting up a band with him and Stefan. Magnus and Mike met for the first time in 2006 during the recording session of an all star album called ‘Planet Alliance’. Magnus and Mike became very good friends so, also they often talked about working more together.
Stefan and Mike started to compose songs and made FULL FORCE official as a band during spring, 2009 even thou they didn’t had a drummer and second guitarplayer at that time. The interest from metal fans and media all over the world turned out amazing due to the fact that Magnus and Stefan was back in the ‘spotlight’ in a new fresh band. The first interview was done already within 24hours after the announcement of FULL FORCE existence in ‘Sweden Rock Magazine’.
Long time friend Anders Johansson (Hammerfall, ex Yngwie J. Malmsteen) joined FULL FORCE as their permanent drummer and is also involved in the songwriting. Mike and Anders good friend and guitar wizard CJ Grimmark (Narnia) was recruited as second guitarplayer and he is also involved in the songwriting process.
FULL FORCE is aiming to have their debut album recorded and released during 2010 and they describe their music to be ‘Melodic Heavy Metal’. Tours and gigs is also in the plan as soon as the album is released. FULL FORCE is a real band and is here to stay!!
