I'm a guitar player, producer and recordist located in Basel/Switzerland. Here's a cross-selection of stuff I recorded, played on and produced at DOORKNOCKER RECORDING STUDIO
'Perfect Stranger' and 'Another day, another night' are from the new OISIN album 'Time For Changes'.
Listen to some of the songs by clicking the ReverbNation player below:
The STIP, BATON ROUGE and MARK WISE selections are other examples of my work over the last few years.
I also threw in some samples from sessions I contributed to as a guitar player. The oldest one is 'Always chasing rainbows like you' by the late DOMINIQUE Alioth from his album 'Fantastic Night'. This was recorded in England in 1989.
The 'Stormy Monday' and 'The Crawl' solo excerpts come from a 1994 live set by THE SOUL DAMAGE CLUB, recorded at the celebrated Atlantis club in Basel.
'Flying' is taken from the 1998 release 'Out To Lunch' by a trio I led called BLACKMAIL that featured Ginger Gee on bass and Claudio Patocchi on drums. Even though that band didn't last too long it was an experience that ultimately made me take up engineering myself and setting up my own studio a few years later.
My prime instrument these days is a Fender Telecaster but I also got into playing dobro and lap steel over the last few years. My roots are in blues and rock but I'm open to all kinds of styles and settings so don't be shy to contact me!
You got some great music there yourself. Heard lots of your influences in your music. Bottle of Gin has some Eric style in it...with your own personality added in. I saw you listed James Burton. He is still going strong. I think he should be in guitar hall of fame if he isn't there already.
hello andi, thanks for the kind words... if you would like any free downloads please follow the profile link to LAST.FM hope all is well with you... alan
The coffee will soon be available to purchase. Keep checking this page and their main site (www.myspace.com/marleycoffee) for more info and updates.
This is a wonderful product. Organic, fair wage, and environmentally friendly. Also there is a charity aim to the company as well. So, a wonderful coffee for a great cause and a great way to remember Bob Marley, who brought so much positivity to this planet.
Greetings from North Carolina! Thank you for the add, and friendship. Never knew that Ob-La-Di Ob-La-Da was a single with Back In The USSR. Wow! That is very cool to learn. Really enjoyed your music. Best wishes for continued success! -Rich
