From Wikipedia:
Assfactor 4 was a hyper punk band formed by 2 members of Tonka and 2 members of Unherd. They came together in Fall 1992 in Columbia, SC, but broke up in 1997. Assfactor 4 was always lumped in with emo bands of the time like Heroin, Still Life, and Antioch Arrow, but they were unique in their sound and demeanor. If Rites of Spring and ABC Diablo jammed together they might sound like Assfactor 4. Heartattack readers voted Assfactor, "Coolest Band to Hang Out With," in 1995.

I saw AF4 at Gilman 7.29.94 One of the best bands ever. You still get regular rotation on my player, although I never got a copy of All Quiet comp and those tracks are awesome. Thanks for bringing me many hours of one man loud bedroom circle pitting.
1992? 93? I can't remember... I'm so not cool when it comes to punk, but if I have any taste at all, I'd swear you guys are good... I mean it... like twice baked potatoes...seriously yummy good, even for an ol' country gal like me
I remember being in Rapid City SD and seeing these guys with Premonition and then going back to the house they were staying at and watching the movie that would later become my favorite. That was the summer of 1994. Good times. I was 18!
Matt McKeever, Chris Mixon, Richard Percefull and I are somewhere in the crowd on the video posted below. A little over a decade and a lot of pounds ago. Supporting Assfactor 4 and all Assfactor related activity like Alex's addiction to the Big DM out of Columbia SC. What a hip-hop playa.
Greatest South Carolina Band ever...
