Based out of Pontiac, Michigan the Pop/Rock band, Atavan, was started by Josh Goff and Christian Skirmont in January of 2007. After many months of the two writing acoustically, Teddy Amsbaugh joined the band in June 2007 on drums. October of 2007, Joseph Marks completed the band at bass. Feeling that finally the time was right to record and start playing shows, Atavan, booked recording time for early February at Nada Studios with John Naclerio (Brand New, Armor For Sleep, theAUDITION, My Chemical Romance, etc.) and scheduled a series of shows including a two week tour of the Midwest and one month on the 08’ Vans Warped Tour all through the Midwest and the East Coast. They have sold over 1500 of their debut EP, …With the World Asleep, and gave away another 1000 free CDs for digital download on Myspace. They are heading on a two month long tour from October 17th thru December 19th hitting up over 30 states. Look to see these guys in a town near you!
