It was created by [austin swim]'s Troy Dillinger, an award-winning filmmaker and Austin musician for over 25 years, and is produced by Michelle Dougherty, the producer of the Austin Gong Show.

**The Platforms** were recently featured on the Goldie's Garage show in Little Steven's Underground Garage, on Sirius Satellite Radio Channel 25. The show is for new, unsigned garage rock artists. Miss Goldie herself, Genya Ravan, found The Platforms right here on MySpace. This was the fifth monthly show where 12 bands battle it out for votes to be considered the best new garage act on the planet.
