Last but not least, killing zombies. Like alot, alot, alot of zombies.
PS: We're all awaiting November, where we can kill zombies with frying pans.
It all began when ET discovered the sordid wonders of post-rock, shoegaze and experimental music while being high and dry during his supposed academic pursuits in Australia. A struggling student/musician trying his best to make ends meet, ET was hell-bent on pursuing his musical dreams and starting his own post-rock band after being spellbound by the out-of-this-world live shows of bands like Sigur Ros & Mogwai.
ET then approached the fleet-fingered guitarist Darrell (Bedroom Utensils) who was more than enthusiastic to try out something challenging and new beyond his sessionist credentials.
Joey was then invited to join the band which he promptly accepted. A sleeping player (literally speaking, lol) he has contributed to the band with his penchant for unique bass lines.
The band then when through a rather turbulent time amidst auditioning drummers before settling on Karthik (Bedroom Utensils as well) after being impressed by his passion & enthusiasm for bulldozers. Enough said.
With each individual member coming from totally different musical backgrounds, this has resulted in the band melding many different elements from a cadenza of various influences into a diverse yet focused sound. The band does not bother with musical labels, genres or conformity. After all, the band's ultimate goal is to break down the perceived barriers and stereotypes people often set up themselves without knowing it.
The philosophy of perception often leads to infinite regress. Allow your soul to perceive what you listen beyond initial impressions.
