  • Bio

.. Veteran of the Houston jungle/drum and bass scene, BMC started deejaying in 1994. He quickly became one of Houston's most sought after drum and bass DJs. He has traveled throughout the United States playing venues of varying sizes, from club nights to massive raves. He also published Tha Pride, one of America's only drum and bass magazines, from 1997-2001. DJ, promoter, and now producer, BMC has also been making tracks for the last four years. Production credits include "The Attack" as featured on the videogame Amped: Freestyle Snowboarding 2. In 2008 is BMC's remix of Lenky Don's "More Weed" on Starlight Records dropped which was his first vinyl release. He has also collaborated with local, award winning Latin singer Karina Nistal for her new single "Nothing for me". 2009 was a busy year for BMC, not only dj'in all over the south, but he released his first lp with Joe B and Suma of the Rebel Crew fame entitled "Heavy Heights' a raw mix of dubstep, dnb, and hip hop. BMC, along with his Texas Dub - crew mate, Intager started a new label called Eye-Ten Recordings. And had numerous releases on other labels such as "Shift Recordings, Betamorph, Dirty Circuit, Stupid Fly and others. 2010 is looking to be even more hectic with dj bookings through out the US and even more releases already lined up. He has also started a side project with Bukkha, F8, with releases set to drop on Dirty Circuit and Filthy already signed up for early this year. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .... .. .. .. .... .... .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. ...... .. .................... .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. ..

Ultragore Recordings is back with a who’ s who of talent for the SPIRIT ROAD EP. The bench runs deep on this four track ep, trotting out some of the veteran players from earlier releases and bringing some fresh talent into the fold. True to the style, label bosses Sluggo and Lank have been pushing that tear-out murder business for some time now and this release is no different. Finally stepping from behind the curtains, Borgore makes an appearance on the lead single, bringing a little more star power to an already solid line-up.

DROPS THIS FRIDAY OCT 29th GRAB IT !!!!!
Next month Ultragore Recordings presents - Killer Buddah and Juggernaut's "Call the Ambalamps E.P."

New York dubstep producer Decree (aka Dylan Marcus) has been in the production game since high school, producing drum and bass, dubstep, and even running his own label—all before the age of 18. Today, he’s gaining notoriety as a dub producer with heavy chops and a tight production style. On his first single for Ultragore, Decree brings the heavy with Synthetic Cocktail.

Cocktail builds out of foreboding ambience into an abrupt drop where raw bass twists and grinds over huge sub-bass reverberation. This sexy beast growls and purrs, riding the beat to summery piano interludes and beyond where Decree breaks things down, taking the best of both worlds, making their presence known, and then returning to the heavy bass in this twisting, turning dub bass tune.

On the remix, Sluggo takes the aforementioned sexy dancer for a shift at the rave with his Chuggo Sluggo Remix. A chopped up freight train wails down the tracks laid by Sluggo’s signature tear-out squelch bass. Think DJ Dan’s Loose Caboose meets a strobe-lit slaughterhouse. High energy tear-out with a warehouse twist, Sluggo makes a play for the big room on this filthy rave dub.

Ultragore Recordings is back with its third hard-hitting release, a collaboration between
Sluggo and Bare. Label boss Sluggo takes a trip across the desert to the surf and sand of sunny
California where Los Angeles’ Bare has been making major noise on the domestic dubstep
scene. With tunes recently landing in the sets of Dieselboy, Excision, Datsik and Trillbass and
with upcoming releases on Sub Human and Hollow Point, Bare’s been making an indelible mark
on US dubstep as of late.

On Shy Guy, Sluggo and Bare drop a chugging beast of a tune a in their first collabo together. A
pitched down pan flute warms things up to the drop where a heavy digital squelch evolves along
a bubbling bass line throughout. An aggressive top end and subdued bass create a versatile tune,
working as a bridge point between power cuts on the for the big room jock or something to pick
up the energy for your deeper minded DJ.

B-side has Bare going solo with Mmm Mmmm. This low-end burner has dances with elements of
skweee and hip hop, as 8-bit bleeps and battle wax sample stabs ride a tough mid-range grinder.
Everyone’s favorite beer spokesman stops in for a few minutes, signing off with exuberant
approval on Bare’s brand of dub.
Ps - If you don't want us sending you new dubstep Stormers... defriend plz.
If you like being on top of nastiest though get ready for the next
release! UltraGore Recordings presents Decree "Synthetic Cocktail"!
