PHILIP PAUL KELLY aka Bawlde’ has been singing since he was a boy. Growing up on Long Island N.Y. he always found ways to express his voice whether it was in choir or local theatrical productions. His first professional job was as a backup singer for one of the famed “Double-Mint Twins” which took him to many well known nightclubs in and around the tri-state area in the 80’s. He then went on to perform in Broadway style reviews on cruise ships thus leading to his first staring role in the theatre as ‘Tony” in “West Side Story”. He’s been Lead Actor, Chorus Member, Cabaret Singer, Backup Singer, Director, Producer, and even Box Office Treasure for many a show in NYC and regionally. Recently he appeared in the national tour of “Titanic” the musical as
J. Bruce Ismay the owner of the famed “White Star Ship” and Captain Hook in “Peter Pan”
“Recording this demo has been a dream come true.” He has always been told that he has something special in his voice and wishes to be able to share it with the world.

There is only one word to describe Philip Paul Kelly. AMAZING! He is one of the most gifted singers I have ever heard! Technically there are a lot of good singers and vocalist on the music scene today, but Philip has the gift of drawing the listener in emotionally and making his audience feel the song. He sings straight from the heart, and can even make the most jaded cynic shed a tear.
Once I heard Philip sing I just knew I HAD to bring him to the attention of the industry, and music fans worldwide. I believe in Philip Paul Kelly, and this project for me is from the heart! I as you know am very hard-core rock-n-roll and this is the first time in my career that I have involved myself with a project outside of the genre of music that I play.
Producing his demo hasn’t only been an inspiration for me but it’s made me a hardcore fan.
