The newly formed Bay Area Chamber Symphony is comprised of some of the finest musicians in the San Francisco Bay Area. Our Composer-In-Residence is Demetrius Spaneas. His Prelude, Romance and Tango which we premiered at our April 1, 2007 concert was very enthusiastically received. We love Bach, Mozart and other Classical giants but our primary focus is on new music and presenting the works of living composers.
We are still accepting submissions from composers for our 2007-2008 season. At this time we are only looking at music for strings and woodwinds. We are currently auditioning subs. All inquiries may be submitted to BayAreaSymphony@aol.com
Thank you, BACS, for all you do in service to the world. Music allows each of us to link our individual and collective voices to heal and regenerate the spirit, mind and body.
WISHING YOU EVERY HAPPINESS FOR THE NEW YEAR-THANK YOU FOR THE ADD- I APPRECIATE IT; YOUR MUSIC IS DIVINE-HEAVENLY- LOVE LIGHT COMPASSION-MANDY/DOWN UNDER
