In 2008, it's all about change for the emcee named Bizz-ee. From his unbelievable recovery from a vehicle accident which left him hospitalized for 3 months to getting back to the basics of Hip-Hop, he's finally unveiling his newest disc Show Biz, Bizz-ee is making all the right moves.
Growing-up as the oldest child with one younger sister, Bizz-ee has been a music fan since he was a child. Already writing lyrics by the time he was twelve and recording songs at thirteen.
While signed to MWC Records, Bizz-ee released his first two albums Legal Crime in 2002 and Bigg Bizzness in 2003. Still, his success was not without trouble.
In a dispute with the management, Bizz-ee broke away from the crew at MWC in late 2003 and started working with a new studio. Putting out his third album 3rd Times A Charm in 2006 under his own label, BBP Records, the album had two popular singles-- "Whats That Sound" and "Bizzy's Back In Town".
In March 2007 Bizz-ee was in a deadly automobile accident and was the only one to survive. After many surgeries and three months of not being able to walk, he began physical therapy and had to learn how to walk again before he could get back in the studio and finish up the new album Show Biz.
The first single off the new album is "Turn It Up," produced by Dubs Attic and features Illete.
Bizz-ee is on a mission to be taken seriously. In addition, Show Biz (whose title track is hotter than the third rail) features appearances from 3rd Degree, Illete, and Smiley Smudge. Still, while there is no shame in the party vibe, Bizz-ee also wanted to pay tribute to one of the girls who died in the automobile accident with the song "Two Nights Alone", which is also featured on Bizz-ee's Memory Lane album.
Produced by Slantize, the emotional song, says Bizz-ee, "Was written before the accident and was the way I wanted to let her know I love her. She never got the chance to hear the song.
Another track that Bizz-ee is quite proud of is "Its Ova With," which loudly suggests that when Bizz-ee's on the mic it's over with for the other emcees.
Unafraid of showing his true colors when it comes to partying, the beauty of Show Biz can be heard in Bizz-ee's honest lyrics, impeccable flow and precise production. If you are ready for the show, this is the disc that will take you there.
In the Studio while Tim mixes new tracks for the C-Town Connection Mixtape.
