The Beggar Girls are a 4/5 piece band from the Scottish Borders.Their music is a magical blend of original/Balkan/French and English folk, with heart warming,quirky and wholesome songs of love,dreams and squeezeboxes! Two,three or all of The Beggar Girls pay informally at the wonderful Susies Diner, Edinburgh,every wednesday.
The Beggar Girls are also a wedding band and can be booked to play during the ceremony and for the reception afterwards and will teach simple dances from a traditional mediterranean wedding dance,French couple dances,to circle dances suitable for all the family, so why not book The Beggar Girls for a wedding with a balkan flavour!
