Benales started buying records at the age of 14, and then started mixing them at 16. He first found interest in Trance but then turned round to Hard Techno, Drum’n Bass and Minimal, House, techno with Dub and Detroit/Chicago Sounds, this last one will become his predilection style. So he began to play in different clubs in France.
In 2001 he formed, with friends, the “le Sous-Marin” association, which has for aim to organize Electro parties in Normandy. So he took part in the organization of several parties in pubs and clubs and also organizes the “Tempetes Sonores” festival since 2 years. He also cooperates with “the Pulp” (Paris)and “Dieppe Scene Nationale” in the organization of the “Kill the dj” parties since 2 years in Dieppe.
In 2004 he went to Barcelona and mixed on a radio broadcast(Kremadelik), and then in 2005 he settled in Amsterdam in order to organize and take part into several parties(clubs, squats…) as Café Tetra or The Force.
During this period in Amsterdam he took part in the Twisted Dj Contest and he got successfully selected.
In September 2006 he came back in France, and participated in another Dj contest, The Name Festival Dj Contest, and this time won it in front of a jury composed, among other, of Jennifer Cardini and Jonas Bering(kompakt).
He will be playing as valuable dj for the next edition in 2007… (www.lenamefestival.com).
In 2009, he releases his first track on Etoka Records (Liverpool)...
So Ben did mix and rub elbows with people like : The Hacker, David Carretta, Chloé, Jennifer Cardini, Andrew Weatherall, Laurent Hô, Daniel Stefanik, Alex Smoke, Damian Lazarus, Jamie Jones, Radioslave, Mocky, Optimo, Captain Comatose, Eolifize, Daisy aka mandragore, Human body, Master H, Mondwest, Amplified people, Zadig aka Day is dying.
