About me:
.. Official website: http://www.beyondthecallthemovie.com."An extremely inspiring film that is also hilarious, exciting and heart-wrenching. Not only are the three men unbelievably good willed, they are enjoyable characters filled with lovable quirks and wonderful stories to tell."
- Christopher Campbell, Cinematical
Synopsis:
In an Indiana Jones meets Mother Teresa adventure three eccentric middle-aged men, former soldiers and modern-day knights travel the world delivering life saving humanitarian aid directly into the hands of civilians and doctors in some of the most dangerous yet beautiful places on Earth, the front lines of war.
More than five years in the making; over two years of theatrical screenings, festival showings, standing ovations and many awards, BEYOND THE CALL continues to play at film festivals and independent theaters across the country and around the world.
Please keep your eyes open for BEYOND THE CALL on the film festival circuit and independent theaters across the US and around the world through Fall 2009. I and the stars (Ed Artis, Jim Laws and Walt Ratterman) will make as many of the screenings as possible. We are looking to release the DVD mid-September 2009.
We are working diligently putting together the extras-packed BEYOND THE CALL Collector's Edition 2-DVD set that will be a great Holiday Season gift. In addition to the many extras it will include the PBS version (53 minutes) as well as the theatrical version (83 minutes). It will be available for sale on the film's website www.beyondthecallthemovie.com. At this moment on the site you can leave your email address now so that we can contact you as soon as the DVDs are available. We will not use your emails for any other reason. The initial production run of BEYOND THE CALL DVDs will be limited, so please sign up so you can be assured to receive the DVD as soon as it comes out.
Thank you so very much for your continued support and encouragement!
Any and all assistance that you can offer to help get the word out about the film through press, organizations, websites, bloggers, etc. would be greatly appreciated.
You can get in touch with the subjects of the film at http://www.kbi.org or http://www.onedollar4darfur.com.
Thank you,
