Just stopped in to say hello and give you the latest news.
Hope all is going well you.
I just recently hooked up with my old friend Clyde Stubblefield. Gonna be jammin in Madison Wi. of all places ( good college town). Should be a gas.
My 2nd cousin Brand Schank (of the Nobelmen ) passed away this last year at age 68. He was on the rock front in 57. A pioneer of sorts and a beautiful human being. He perused his love of music right to the end. The world was enriched by his being.
Gee, I hate to be a downer here but I also lost one of my best friends Tom Brown this last year. He was a genius on the guitar. You can learn more about him and the concert in his memory on my latest blog. He had a personality that I can only describe as bubbly. He was always in an up mood no matter what. If you were having a bad day, a call to Tom would put a smile on your face without fail. I loved him and will miss him. The concert date is in June and a number of well known musicians have confirmed that they will attend.
I will be headed for Nashville soon. I'm looking forward to the change in climate although I have to say that the box canyon in Madison where I'm living is beautiful at this time of year.
My best to you as always,
Peace

About me:
Primus inter pares Santa Fe and The Fat City Horns fan (these cats are unreal, click the band name or blog link above), writer, songwriter, bookworm, statistician, SAS programmer, teacher, perpetual student, musician (tryin' to un-retire), photographer, skier, loyal husband, father, grandfather, friend.MORE ABOUT ME: 64 years old goin' on 18. Still tryin' to figure out what I want to be when I grow up. Hyper-aggressive-on-"D" 2 guard with a season pass to the Bone & Joint Institute and the MRI machine at Steinberg Diagnostic for my endless orthopedic hoops injuries (Mr. No-Hops, a.k.a. "old school" -- 'just don't bring that weak shit into my house' LOL!). My regular bball bud is the esteemed jazz pianist and great friend Ronnie Foster (see him in my MySpace friends list). I tell these young Iverson wannabees at 24 Hour Fitness, 'dude, I may be 63, but I warn ya, I got the moves and reflexes of a 50 yr old...' (right before they blow right past my Wax Museum defense).
UPDATE: I've started podcasting for Santa Fe. Check it out.
