Born in 1988 and grew up in an odd family, where the albums of Led Zep and Rolling Stones are played all day long. At the age of 12, while taking some piano lessons, somehow she started passing time with her father's hand-me-down gibson which lately destines her future career as a musician. Under the strong influence of her funky parents, she was baptized a so-called rock chick who desperately loves a legacy of 70's american/british classic rock. Just as she entered a high school, she formed a band called "Murasaki" with her classmates, and her gibson in her arms. The band was seen as highly heresy with their skills and taste of music that made them never fit in their too square, tedious, and peaceful school.
After the band's breakup in 2005, a fated meeting with a country/ blues singer Yoshiaki Kato (ex.Murahachibu) changed her outlook on her musical career. The two hit it off together and soon started having some jam sessions in which she found herself being wholly devoted to blues/country music. While they push on, a brand new weapon called "Dobro" guitar found its way to her and made her mind up to come to light as a solo singer/guitarist. In the summer of 2007, at a small club, a mystery dobro girl "Chihana" with a brass bottleneck silently came into being. In 2008, she independently released her first demo tracks "Rough&Ready" and revived 5 country/ blues tunes by George Harrison, CCR, and Woody Guthrie.
