The band was formed 3 years ago and named “Reborn” by Jamie Dawson (vocals), Simon Williams (guitar) and David Hayler (vocals). All three of them went to school together. Jamie worked with Gary Wheeler (bass) in a supermarket and remembered he was in a band called Aten. After some persuasion Gary chose to join Reborn also bringing Aten drummer Russ Plowman. The five of them practiced and perfected there first 4 songs, and recorded a rough demo in late 2006. During this period they were playing small, local shows for friends. The shows continued and got bigger and better, throughout 2007 they traveled to hastings, the isle of white and most of west Sussex to play shows. What appeared to be a little break, Reborn got a slot on Matstock, a heavy metal festival in summerset, early 2008. This gig unfortunately turned out to be a waste of time, with no one turning up and finding that the festival was poorly run. So after this festival they decided to take a break to record there debut album consisting on 3 of the first original tracks and 6 more that had been written in this time. Then in November 2008 Reborn were back, but now called “Bleed Again”. They had changed there attitude towards gigs and music in general, and before they knew it they were through to the Grand Final of Cravin Tunez annual battle of the bands contest. With a buzz going around worthing about this hot new metal band, a big crowd turned up to the final, and within a 20 min set Bleed Again had secured a win! As soon as this contest was won, bleed again set out to concentrate on Brighton, whilst still doing shows in worthing to get the fan base up. Within a few shows they have got a name for themselves and our now being offered paid shows by different promoters around Brighton. Also finding interest in chatham, Kent and Hampshire rock festivals. So up to this point Bleed Again are looking to move on to doing bigger better things, and see if the interest in the band can go as far as they believe it can.
