I want to solve puzzles of things that I don't understand. With an eye to make things better. I guess that is a basic human enterprise - modeling the world within our own imagination. And in history and in human nature insofar as it bears upon the time we live in now. Cleverness should alleviate suffering. Religion should answer that for us, but the potent medicines that are religious philosophies often prove to be poisonous. And be creative while I can.

Not sure if this is supposed to be Best Hits or What I am Reading Now: What I am reading now always seems to be the best hits - Mary Daly - saved my life. Just finished "Understanding Media" an anthology of essays by Marshall McLuhan and now - "Cosmic Enigmas" by Joseph Silk - who writes for the non-specialist on Astrophysics. I enjoy the new books. "The Presence of Siva" by art historian Stella Kramrisch, I think is my favorite book of all time. That and "The Dream of the Earth" by Thomas Berry. Rupert Sheldrake's " A New Science of Life" is an all time favorite in the category of science. Terrence McKenna's "True Hallucinations?" That stands out. For what I am reading now (when I wrote this years ago) : Webster Tarpley's, "Synthetic Terror." Edwin Black, "War Against the Weak.", Paul Ekman, "Emotions Revealed" and "Telling Lies." Edward Said, "Culture and Imperialism." Marshall McCluhan, "The Mechanical Bride." Uri Dowbenko, "Bushwhacked." Ilya Prigone, "The End of Certainty." Andreas von Bulow, "The CIA and September 11th - International Terror and the Role of the Secret Services." Peter Dale Scott, "Deep Politics and the Death of JFK." Casanova, "The History of My Life." I think I will have to blog about the books I read - changes too often otherwise. Top books don't change, but I really think the Tarpley and von Bulow, and the Scott, will reign supreme forever.

- Very serious. Worried about the state of the world/USA. I have been deeply frightened by W. Bush and his cronies since they stole the election in 2000. Read a lot of books. I Study. I think. Politics, economics, science, Jungian psychology, Edward Said, true story of 9-11. Rupert Sheldrake, Thomas Berry. Bertrand Russell. I read people who synthesize knowledge - not in the sense of fabrication or Propaganda, but in the sense of being on the edge. Truth is the standard. That's why I read mostly non-fiction or fiction that is very close to showing what is real.
I can't remember which pill it is in the matrix, red or blue, but I would prefer to be uncomfortable with the truth than comfortable with fantasy, stupidity and lies.
Eat organic food, organic meat once a week. Gave up interest in film art since it wasn't serious enough - not enough time. Yet I still go to films. I love film art, drama. I love to watch an expert actor, study the face, decide how good they are portraying an emotion. I study the movements, gestures and speech of actors using stop action and frame by frame analysis. It helps me in my study of communication and of dance. Ride a xootr - which is a kick-bike, have an old-fashioned bicycle, followed hinduism at one time in my life- am interested in philosophy - Wittgenstein. Music using unusual scales (pure intonation), Watch performance art. Prefer to respect every human being, but it's hard sharing a world with the Fascists, Neo-cons, Rove, Shills, Goldman-Sachs, FREEPERS - psychos and sociopaths et al. Can't we just all be happy in paradise? I guess not. Enjoy hatha yoga and ballet exercise and gym classes. This has become my obsessive hobby. Would love to do more in dance. Looking for super-intellectual companionship/friends, male or female. Looking for the super-skilled, but in what matters. Looking for a Club/social structure of like minded people. Looking for Paradise on Earth, but not willing to hurt people to get it. I know that it's there and I will find it. In some other dimension or world. The universe is a big place and time is long.

On June 8, 1967, a date which will live in infamy, a United States ship, the USS Liberty, was suddenly and deliberately attacked by naval and air forces of the State of Israel. But did you know that a third large building also collapsed on September 11 at 5:20 in the afternoon and that this building, WTC 7, wasn't even hit by a plane?
