"Blue Jimmy is a well-worn roots-rock quintet that shuffles country, folk, and rock into a loaded deck of fantastic Americana. Musicians that fall into this category --- The Old '97s, The Jayhawks, Wilco, Lucinda Williams --- often tend to lean in favor of one particular flavor in their mix. Blue Jimmy blends. Full of lush five-part harmonies and grooves that bop, rock, swing, and waltz, Blue Jimmy may be one of the most perfectly balanced, truly Americana bands you'll hear." Congrats on the new CD fellas! Sorry I couldn't make it to the release show, I had previous commitments. Sounds like the new tunes are taking the country road. They sound great and I wish you all great success! See y'all at BB12.
I wanted to stop in and tell you that I just heard Madeline last night on the BEE! I knew in a heartbeat that it was Blue Jimmy. I love it! Keep the good tunes coming!
Hey Guys, Just stopping in to say hello and I hope everything is going good for you. My CD is out and will soon be available. Have a great day!!Hope to see you all again soon. Amanda
Either Jimmy Wayne (or someone who knows him) has obviously stolen one of your songs - tell me his new "Do You Believe Me Now" does not sound like you guys! If I didn't know better, I would have thought it WAS you. You'd better high-tail it to Nashville and protect your "sound"!
Have a great one guys! And it was awesome seeing you at The Roost! Can't wait for you all to come back on a Friday/Saturday night!
GREAT job at the Lilac festival today! Totally worth staying through the rain! Wouldn't ya know it, was the only time it rained all day too... Was awesome to see you play live again and hopefully I'll catch you at the Canal days in a couple weeks!
Loved the new songs and looking forward to the new CD!!
I'll let y'all know when a get a little review of the whole day and pictures up on my page.
Hey Brian! Nik is slowly but surely taking my soul :) but, its a paying gig, so that is what it is. Ayersfest! Is there anyone that is looking for people to get a set together? Talked to Jess, we would love to be there. Let me know.....
