Thousands of road miles in two countries, opener slots with the Likes of 'The Tea Party', 'I Mother Earth', and 'Sylvain Sylvain', and hundreds of studio hours have forged the members of BOMBAST.
BOMBAST brings together three gritty Ontario boys, bonded by the influential heart of the Motor City, to create a sound rooted in the spirit of rock and roll.
BOMBAST was inspired by a variety of musical influences ranging from the rock and folk of the 60's and 70's (Hendrix, Beatles, Simon & Garfunkel), through the punk and new wave sounds of the 70's and 80's (Clash, Blondie, Devo, Pistols), and the West Coast sound of the early 90's (Nirvana, Soundgarden, Faith No More).
BOMBAST's sound is truly an amalgam of these influences, and is inspired by the pursuit of creating music we love to listen to.
With more than 25 years collective gigging, recording, and touring experience, BOMBAST boasts a live and recorded sound refined by the beer-soaked floor-boards of many venues and the rough gravel of many roads.
Loud, proud, and well-endowed, BOMBAST is rock in the new, old-fashioned way!
