Axel Rosie O'Donnell was formed in early 2007 as something to do to avoid the harsh sun and bleak shopping centers of Cairns. We recorded our hits in a garage in Cairns with two practice amps, a borrowed bass, a sax, an old drum kit, a few pedals, a ladder (to place vocal mic on and as percussion) and a set of rusted metal cricket wickets (percussion also). The one strategically placed microphone we used to record was worth $100+ which explains the exceptional clarity of the recordings.
Nic is also in Onani.
Joe is also in a Napalm Death cover band, Napalm Breath.
