Brandon Heath likes the little moments.
Those opportunities to observe, process and act upon what he witnesses in the world surrounding him are the primary traits of a great songwriter, something Heath continues to showcase on his second Reunion Records release, What If We (August 19, 2008).
Even the album’s title grew up out of one of those little moments, a conversation Heath was having with a mentor that sent the Nashville native, now Houston resident, spinning off into thought.
“Every part of that phrase, ‘what if we,’ is important,” Heath says. “I don’t even look at it as incomplete – dot, dot, dot – because the ‘what if’ part is about possibilities, obviously. But the ‘we’ part is saying, ‘let’s do this together, let’s not do this alone.’”
God surly walked, God surly lives and he is so graceful and quick to forgive, We wake each morning with his special love never ending, and his hands are healing daily, what passion he is always sending.
Walk in the light today, tomorrow may never come, but we know there is a light that never goes out, It's the Lord and he is always wondering here and about. This is what I pray and write to those who know his love and to thous who don't want to know, I say oh no, please come and see he won't let you go. Thank you Lord for my friends who care, I know in heaven they are everywhere, because they did care... Love from Me, I tell you God is so good, and I knew he would come and heal you of your sickness, because he said that he would,, Glad you are feeling better Cherry, and to all who care about your love, if you ever need me, I will be there. Even if it's just to write a poem for you.. I am in prayer today, praying that God will find me and Karen a home, Just want to tell all that we share a great love, Amen the things in this world want to take us down and we are being attacked everyday, but there is a reason the attacks get stronger each day, we are so close and I feel it in my spirit, So we all need to pray for God to come wipe our tears away. I don't know if you feel these same pressures in your life and see the things that are happening in our world, the signs of the times and we should hold fast and be glad in it. Because we are surly close to finding our true home, then don't have to look here any more ha ha ha peace and God bless all Chuck
Im a teenager i guess you could say :P But i used to fight my mom to turn off Christian music in the car until one day one of your songs was on. 'Till this day i dont fight her to turn it off or change it and your song "Give me your eyes" helps me through the day and reminds me who i am and who other people are. The concert was awsome, and i forgot to tell u the I not who i was relates in so many way in my life, cuz i see it the way i used to be and who i am now. I didn't get a meet&greet ticket... but, I just wanted to give you a big hug, your words in your music aside from the great tunes, inspire me, in good ways... I can feel through your words how Jesus Christ, God can move your soul, and its so beautiful. I hope sometime soon, I get to meet a guy like you... here in The Valley'' of the people I know there are not many my age a bit older who see through and for God,... but anyways... it was great to meet you last night, i know you must have been super exhausted because you met about two hundred people before we met, but i just wanted to encourage you. It's so awesome that you have found what God wants in your life and I just wanted to tell you congratulations! keep going forward, at times it gets hard, but for me, I look at Psalms 121 for encouragement. I was so glad that I could see yall last night in Wichita Falls. It was the best birthday present ever! All of yall did a wonderful job. It was amazing to go to a concert and just feel like I was at church(yes, I do know that it was in a church....my church) but you know what I mean....It felt more personal then a concert. I could connect with God and sing great songs and just worship him! Thank you, and leeland and "frannie" too for coming to my town!
