Brandon Heath's music is influenced by his hometown of Nashville, TN. Most of the music that inspires him today is made by Nashvillians like Ryan Adams, Josh Rouse and Matt Wertz. When he began playing guitar and writing songs as a 13-year old, it was thoughtful songwriters like Sting, Shawn Colvin and David Wilcox who inspired him the most. That and the Bluebird Café, a legendary Nashville hotspot for songwriters.
"Music, for me, has always been about the songwriting," Heath says. For him, songwriting is a lifestyle, not merely a necessity of building a pop career. Therefore, he's destined to be a power player in the music scene for years to come.
Don't Get Comfortable is Heath's major label debut, and it is the culmination of all of his years studying the songwriting greats. Super-producer Dan Muckala (Backstreet Boys, Nick Lachey, The Afters) uses his pop music dexterity to mold earthy songwriting into the stellar sound that rises above the clutter of mindless radio pop without losing its larger than life hooks. With its intelligent pop pre-eminence, Don't Get Comfortable is an album sure to be only the first chapter for Brandon Heath, the truest of songwriters who has finally taken his rightful place behind the mic.
I love "Give Me Eyes". I missed it on the JOY-FM the other morning and Carmen and tons of callers convinced Dave and Bill to play it again (with in 30 minutes of the last play)
Wooooooooooooooooooooo! WOW! The new song is going to be a hit. No doubt about that. YAY! I'm so loving the heads up about the ur new CD! August is when I go back to school so it's comming right on time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LoVe Ya!
That song "give me your eyes" sounds so amazing bro. And the chorus hits hard, that is my prayer too; to be Christ-like to the world. Looking forward to the new album, sounds really edifying. Gr@ce & Pe@ce
What an amazing song—“give me Your eyes.” We just talked with the kids at youth group tonight about this very thing that we needed to have a burden for the lost and care daily about what others were going through and more importantly, where they will be spending eternity. “This is an Emergency.” PS—Guilty--It’s easy to talk to the kids about this, but a lot harder to apply this to my work day. As always…God is using you…Thank you!
Thank you for being my friend here on MySpace. It is always nice to connect with my brothers, and sisters in Christ Jesus! Please stop by my page sometime to read my testimony, and to listen to my music. I hope we get to know each other better in the months to come. May God bless you and yours always!
From Todd Also my new Cd is now available on iTunes and Napster for digital download.
I got home this morning from being at a revival in Lakeland, Florida, and I was so excited to see that "Give Me Your Eyes" was added to the player. Thanks for adding it! It is a great song!
Hey Brandon! Yay, I'm gonna see you in less than a week!! Are you gonna do the song on the piano again? Gosh that was beautiful when you did it in El Cajon! Anyway, can't wait to see you!! ~Amanda
Oh, GIVE thanks to the LORD! CALL upon His name; MAKE known His deeds among the peoples! SING to Him, sing psalms to Him; TALK of all His wondrous works! GLORY in His holy name; LET the hearts of those rejoice who seek the LORD! SEEK the LORD and His strength; SEEK His face evermore!
TO FALL IN LOVE WITH GOD IS THE GREATEST OF ALL ROMANCES, TO SEEK HIM IS THE GREATEST OF ALL ADVENTURES' TO FIND HIM IS THE GREATEST HUMAN ACHIEVEMENT.

You need to put the new song about seeing people through God's eyes up! The radio station can only play it so much and I just love it. I have had I'm not who I was for so long it is time for a change and I think that is the song to do it. The Lord has truly blessed you and us through you:)
"I'm Not Who I was" This song has made me realize that in order to be free we must forgive others who have hurt us so deeply! I am guilty of harboring unforgiveness that has been buried for so long.. When I heard your song this morning driving to work I realized that true freedom begins inside of ourselves through letting go of hurt and condemnation put on us through others and finding a way to forgive and let go of the pain. Thank you for sharing this song. It really got me thinking this morning, That I don't want to be who I was anymore..
Oh hey your hair rocked at the concert! i just had to tell yuh haha i was kinda sad cus you didn't sing The light. (my favorit song) i shoulda told you but you were no where to be found lol but other than that you are prety much the bomb =)
