This is a touchy subject... It is of the mind of alot of eastern philosophers (and me at least) that one of the biggest problems that the western civilization has befallen is the inability to sit alone in an empty room with themselves and no noise and be comfortable. Music is meant to enlighten and enhance the spirit... any kind of muysic that does this is the kind I like... Alternative to folk to classical I love it all and loathe it just the same... the two types of music I hate the most are country and rap and for some of the same reasons (however unlikely a parallel between country and rap might seem.) but I do like some good rap (I wish Eminem would quit fucking whining about his mommy or how bad his life sucks when he is that famous and wealthy) (I guess fame and wealth suck almost as much as living in the trailer park that you claim to have lived in off 8 mile right Em?) and I wish every country singer out there would quit trying to do the country Twang especially if they can't pull it off with grace and they just sound like freakin moron doing it. I was born in the south, but raised up here and please I can pull off a southern twang better than half the hacks in the country business. Thank God for Johnny Cash and George Jones (among several others who I appreciate but heck this is too long already.
