As Brian walked out on stage on December 28 in front a sold out room in Hartford, CT he knew this is just the blue print for all the hard work that lay ahead. It was a sense of accomplishment but only the tip of the ice berg. Brian has spent the last 2 years honing his act and his songs by playing over 200 shows in the last two calendar years. Spanning as far east as Los Angeles this Massachusetts native is still pounding the pavement to get the word out. Drawing from influences like John Mayer and Vertical Horizon Brian’s sound is familiar yet somewhat progressive. His Acoustic guitar rhythm’s drive the hook filled songs. In 2007 the culmination of hard work found Brian at the heels of his debut album “Honestly”. Produced by Alan Veniscofsky of Tides Records the Album is on its way to clearing the path for more success.
The album showcases the many different styling of Brian’s songwriting. From the rhythm inflected track “Honestly” to the stripped down “In My Head”. The album offers something for everyone. Tracks like “Dark Places” remind the listener of alternative tracks from Radio head to the forward hook filled “Waste My Time” which showcases some beautiful harmonies. The album has hints of different flavors but still falls under one roof as not stray too far from the foundation. The album has drawn great attention from college, satellite and AAA radio station 100.9 WRNX. Brian’s songs also receive heavy airplay on the AMP radio network which spans across over 200 gas stations in the Connecticut area.
In 2007 Brian was awarded Best Solo artist by the Hartford Advocate reader’s poll. Along with this Brian added the services of several well known musicians in the area. Dan Prindle ( Rane ) joined as the full time bassist along with Lee Sylvestre ( Dave Mack, Bill Carleton ) as the full time guitarist. Along with the existing talents of Anna Brewer (Piano) and Bryan Kelly (Drums) the live band is coming into its own. Harnessing such veteran talents allows the band to be versatile with traditional rock band line up showcasing three part harmonies and driving rhythms.
Brian has shared the stage recently as direct support for Virgin recording artist The Last Goodnight and Universal’s Kenny Mehler. Other notables include The Samples, Chris Robinson of the Black Crowe’s, Vertical Horizon , Matt White and Stephen Kellogg

Boy, I need to check my Myspace account more often...I had no idea you blogged about me TWO times! Thanks for the really nice birthday thoughts...I have been thinking a lot of those kinds of thoughts myself lately. I am half-excited and half-anxious at all the new things I am about to head into in seven weeks...I am so grateful for the years of friendship we've had, which seems like decades. You are a friend that I will keep until I'm very old and crazy. And then, we'll still be friends, I just won't remember who you are. Thanks for introducing me to Bryan...it was the best thing you've ever done. Love ya.
I just noticed that you've spread the loving to my white board calendar as well. For some reason I first only saw it on today ... now I realize you've eternally penciled yourself in :)
