Ileen's Bio
Toronto, Canada – After studying piano at Brock University, Ileen collaborated with the talented Danielle Oegema and Danno O’Shea. The three friends created the band “Jaded”. Jaded played numerous shows, including opportunities to play with major artist like “Justin Nozuka” and “DB Clifford”.
Three years passed and Jaded went from three to one, enabling Ileen to pursue a solo career. She still regularly collaborates with Danielle Oegema, because Danielle’s violin playing brings a different sound to Ileen’s music. Ileen is currently recording her first album with Robeter Productions and working with Pete Wellington, also known as Saint Pete, the internationally known DJ and producer. When Ileen isn’t recording, she spends her time teaching high school music at West Hill Collegiate. She credits her teaching career in helping to evolve her art, because she gets to work with music on a daily basis.
Ileen has a unique sound that involves the violin and the piano. She uses a lot of harmonies in her songs, because she believes it takes the song to another level.
Her first single, “Remember November” off her upcoming album, “Mindfull Conversations” includes high vocals and ambient synthesizer sounds in the background. It is a combination of electronic, adult alternative and pop music which gives it a different sound than what we’re use to hearing on the radio.
Ileen’s album, “Mindfull Conversations” is due to be released in the fall of 2009. A new website is also in the works where fans will be able to purchase the CD online. Ileen will be playing venues this summer and fall and everyone is sure to quickly become a fan of her music.
“I’m really excited about the upcoming album; it’s what I’ve been waiting for. I’d really like to get the songs licensed and out there for radio play. Mindfull Conversations is an emotional journey and a representation of my growth as a writer, musician and person”

Let's go on an adventure. We'll go through conversations we've had amoung moments and find out which ones brought us here.
The time is now. I'll sit on a stage and tell you all about circles I've been in and triangles I've fallen out of, as my fingers tell a different story.
Album Coming Soon. Check Back Often.
"Ileen’s usage of piano and violin have a wonderful fused sound. The whispery style of her music creates a calm and peace which in these days, you really look for. It is almost angelic in texture with great background orchestrated sounds which the listener will definitely love."
Live wisely and certainly.
