Broto Verbo é o alter-ego de Carlos Matos.. (em carl0smat0s.blogspot.com há mais) um ex-membro dos Ode Filípica (1989-1994) - uma das primeiras bandas industriais portuguesas. Trabalhando em vários projectos de índole alternativa, como Plebe Sindicatum, C&C Corporation, Clínica do Medo, The Sixth Sense Disease, Circo Errechis Céptico ou Plaztik Leiria Bomberz, e editando/publicando sob o nome de Berço Estandarte.. (a sua identidade oculta durante anos), Carlos Matos faz agora a sua maior aproximação ao formato canção desde que começou a compor música em 1987! O projecto Broto Verbo pretende juntar e equilibrar o espírito musical do punk/goth/electro/indie com a riqueza e poética abundância lexical da língua portuguesa Escuta e usufrui sem preconceitos! Broto Verbo is the new musical adventure of Carlos Matos, an ex-member of Ode Filípica (1989-1994) - one of the portuguese industrial music band pioneers. Working in several both musical and performative total underground acts like Plebe Sindicatum, C&C Corporation, Clínica do Medo, The Sixth Sense Disease, Circo Errechis Céptico or Plaztik Leiria Bomberz and releasing/publishing under the name of Berço Estandarte (his occult id for years...), Carlos Matos is now making his most "songwriting" approach, since he began doing music back in 1987!
