I PLAYED BASS 4 A FEW BANDS OVER TIME, BUT ALWAYS LIKED MAKIN UP DAFT ACOUSTIC GUITAR SONGS/VERSIONS AT PARTIES AND IN PEOPLES HOUSES AFTER GIGS. SOMEONE SAID WHY DON'T YOU GIG THEM? I BIN GIGGIN THE DAFT ONES A BIT NOW.. SOME SONGS I'VE ONLY EVER DONE ONCE OR TWICE, SOME'VE STAYED AROUND, I LIKE TO GET A TITLE N A RIFF THEN DO IT BIT DIFFERENT EVERY TIME, MOSTLY CAN'T REMEMBER HOW TO DO THEM EXACTLY THE SAME TWICE.. I LET STUFF JUST POP OUT..

I can barely contain my excitement and joy at the prospect of relaying unto thee, the most gracious and discerning listening public, news of the delectable entertainments gracing the upper chamber of Fuel Cafe, Withington this fine Saturday, July 12th. For show and tell this week, we present:
- Kr!ss Foster - Utterly fantastic absurdist, surrealist and occasionally nauseating songs about Vimto, Dale Winton and necrophelia. You'll laugh, you'll cry, he'll change your life.
- Danny Chivers - Award winning eco-geek slam poet all the way from Oxford. Half master of witty banter, half eerily reasonable prophet of environmental armageddon
James Knight - A sort of poet from Blackpool pitting high quality hip hop rhythms and rhymes against an unnerving backdrop of male insecurity.
Hosted once again by Al Baker, and once again featuring 'Magic' Mark Haworth performing close up magic between the acts. Doors at 8:00pm, £3 recommended donation for the travelling acts.
