Caratinga are a fabulous Anglo-Brazilian sextet bringing traditional Brazilian Choro and Samba to a new audience across the UK.
With dazzling acoustic interplay, infectious rhythms and gorgeous songs from over a century of Brazilian music, Caratinga have delighted audiences at festivals, theatres and arts centres throughout the UK. They're also firm favourites on the UK's thriving Rural Touring network.

In October 2008 Caratinga released their second album "Na Ponta Do Pé" on F-IRE Records, distributed through Proper Distribution, and the album is now available through all major retailers including Tesco.com, Zavvi.com and Amazon.co.uk.
