Studied painting and works as a graphic designer.
Interested in digital sound recording technology and their live expressions, developed a constant practice in studio and carried on into live performance, where improvisation has a important role.
Uses laptop, microphones, piezo elements and custom-built software written in max/msp.
His main areas of musical work are field recording/soundscape, concrete music, electroacoustic improvisation and real-time processing of acoustic instruments.
Active since the early 90's, collaborated with a wide range of acoustic and electronic musicians in all kind of formations and setups.
Colaborates with several video/dance artists, and starts working on his own audio/video
pieces in 2003. Presentes is work in several festivals in Portugal, Spain, France, England and Germany.
