Russell strums his guitar and shouts while Andy plunks his bass and sings, and James hits the drums hard (and sings if he has a mic / can be bothered).
Influences
WE ALL LIKE: Devo, Skeleton Key, Bilge Pump, Shellac, The Pixies, Ivory Springer, Art Brut, the paintings of Francis Bacon
Sounds Like
"THE SOUND OF 1000 SEAGULLS ATTACKING CHICHESTER BOYS CHOIR"
"Sewer punk spewed onto the glossy middle shelves of newstands"
-Meatbreak - Not For Resale
"CAUTIONHORSES's music is a fury of aggressive stabs and cuts, like Gang of Four in a knife fight. They have a post punk-new wave vibe delivered with biting vocals. They had an energetic stage show to match the music and ended each song with a tight punchy stop like a kick to the head."
-Brighton Fuzzbox
"In a world where many bands care more about their hair and the cut of their skinny jeans than the music, CAUTIONHORSES stand out. With unique lyrics, punk ethos and danceable grooves a great live performance is guaranteed."
-Bognor Guardian
"Too loud for their home town of Chichester, CAUTIONHORSES have been forced to travel far and wide across the South East, releasing their shouty post-punk in concentrated doses at select venues. Sexy, funky and little bit surreal."
-The Ginglik
"Celebrity sex obsessed, metallic riff-merchants CAUTIONHORSES should go round every newsagent putting copies of their demo inside Heat, Star, Enquirer etc. Your average shit-lit reader would be appalled by the gory details of Catwalk Tapeworm and probably not appreciate the advice given for obtaining The Best Ass. It's an idea. (MB) "

To download a free PDF copy from Rapidshare either follow this link or click on the image below . . .
This is quite a large file (the PDF is print quality, so if you wanted to print out a copy rather than stare at a computer screen you can. The 'zine will print at 300dpi and pages are sized at A5) so it may take a few minutes to download.
We are already working on the next issue (due out in January) and are always looking for contributors. If you would like to contribute to TBB or think that there is something we should know about please get in touch with us either here or, better still, visit our forum, sign up and get involved there. TBB is not just about music, we want to hear about anything underground, alternative or left of center.
We are finally getting the first issue of our 'zine sorted and have setup a forum to go with it's impending release in December.
Both the 'zine and the forum are for more than just music (although that is a big part of what we're about), we will be covering art, film, books, in fact pretty much anything and everything that is underground or alternative.
Have a look at the forum, sign up, start promoting your projects, band, writing, etc and join in the discussions.
we definately have a free song for you to have at www.hyhi.co.uk you definately should go there now and download it now definately thank you please excuse me x
