Influences
A cheated dog, an angry wolf , a brick floating in the ocean , a kick in a sawage system, a boy with a huge interest to different kinds of music, from classical to funky, from rock to folk, absolutely not indifferent to the music which is played around the whole world, and inside the world.
Influences from places i were in (and i am in), people I know and who feed a lot of music i make (for bad and good aspects), animals' sincerity and instinct, something which my mind catches and might have not so many connections to what is reality around us!

It sounds like life, because life is various, so if music is life, music should be various, then it depends from what kind of person you are.
It sounds like walking on a street watching everything that sorrounds you , so that you have the time to taste that moment for its beauty, or to throw up everything if disgusting...
It sounds like a machine recording what's going on to this world.
It sounds like a scream due to an explosion.

Celestino Telera: Un ragazzo nato nel 1988 in una piccola città del sud-est della penisola italica (per più informazioni, andate a visitare il suo spazio myspace, quello normale, finchè vivrà ). Da quando era un bambino mostrava un certo interesse per un certo tipo di musica e qualche motivetto di pubblicità alla tv, Peter Gabriel, Mike Oldfield e il rumore prodotto dal cancello destro della sua casa di campagna *titti-tiiii* !Soprattutto gli piaceva (e gli piace tuttora) suonare quegli trumenti a frequenze basse o quegli strumenti che suonano come nascosti in un brano musicale ! All'età di 6 (o 7. oppure 8) ha la sua prima performance da cantante, con una band del posto conosciuta (all'epoca), Radio Varsavia, cantando due delle loro canzoni in una piazza della piccola cittadina di Mattinata...ricorda ancora quei momenti ! Dai 9 ai 12 anni si ferma ad interessarsi di musica per seguire la massa di amici e fare quelle cose che un piccolo ragazzino (si proprio così) vuole fare alla sua età: giocare a calcio, sentire musica commerciale, far parte in 2 musical come "ballerino" con altri amici più anziani di lui! Per ammazzare il tempo, durante la Scuola Media, decide di suonare il flicorno basso con la banda della sua scuola! Poi, all'età di 13 anni (o meno) grazie alle copertine e alla musica di "US" di Peter gabriel e a "the lamb lies down on Broadway" dei Genesis torna alla sua vecchia strada; inizia a suonare la chitarra senza prendere lezioni e poi il basso di suo padre (ora di Cele).Decide di prendere qualche lezione di basso dal Maestro Sergio Picucci, e deve ringraziare il maestro Salvatore Coppolecchia, il suo insegnante di musica, che ha creduto nelle sue abilità musicali, quelle poche (senza di lui difficilmente avrebbe prodotto musica) ! Durante l'estate del 2005 si unisce alla Bottega degli Apocrifi, compagnia teatrale della sua città, e ha un seminario con altri musicisti e attori nell'Abbazia di Pulsano, iniziando a comporre musica seguendo le scene e le immagini alimentate dalle descrizioni degli attori (e molto altro) ! nello stesso periodo inizia a comporre musica da se, seriamente. Durante l'autunno dello stesso anno parte un progetto con due amici, Francesco Tomaiuolo e Vincenzo Starace, il gruppo si chiama terkishnera e fanno musica che va dal klezmer a materiale che potrebbe essere suonato da un basso, una viola e una fisarmonica (e a volte una batteria). Durante l'estate del 2006 fa la sua apparizione con lo spettacolo della sua compagnia teatrale, con lo spettacolo Sette Contro Tebe; e ad Agosto fa la sua apparizione, prima e ultima, con il gruppo Terkishnera! Dopo la partenza del fisarmonicista, il progetto è archiviato e inizia un'altra attività musicale con altri due amici...quei tre ragazzi producono il suono dei Mellotronk, ovviamente fatto da sperimentazione di suoni, voci, ritmi...lì canta anche, suona basso e chitarra (a volte la tastiera, quando ci riesce)! Dopo la partenza del batterista Celestino decide di dedicare il suo tempo alla propria musica, lavorando a più o meno 60 canzoni (abbozzi) composti tra il 2005 e il 2007! Di questi 60 "motivetti", ha estrapolato 9 canzoni (molte delle quali composte lo scorso anno...2007) che formano il demo album "5/4": i nove brani sono collegati tra loro attraverso una storia che racconta il percorso di un ragazzo alla ricerca del luogo dove ricostruire sé stesso, che percorre posti surreali e crepuscolari , reali ma decadenti , rovinati da una società caotica e opprimente di un paese piccolo con gente non autentica che desiste dalle proprie ambizioni per entrare in un mondo omologato dove la felicità e la calma sono solo apparenti.
Attualmente Celestino Telera è alla ricerca di qualcuno che possa investire sul progetto "5/4" ,da etichette , musicisti, produttori, manager etc..i brani fremono di essere suonati per bene.
Vorrei precisare che il progetto 5/4 è in fase evolutiva, i brani sono ancora in versione demo quindi non rispecchiano al 100% l'idea sonora che CT ha in mente, sottolineando il bisogno a sonorità più coinvolgenti con ritmi più presenti e meno soft, tendenzialmente vicino a come i brani stanno suonando con una vera e propria band ( batteria basso tastiere chitarre ecc... ) . E al progetto si aggiungerebbero anche brani nuovi ( Keep your umbrella out e Rats of the Town ...) .

Celestino Telera: A boy born in 1988 in a little town of the south east of Italy (for more information, go and visit his normal myspace profile, till it's alive). Till he was a child he showed a certain interest for a certain music and some tune coming from commercials at tv, Peter Gabriel, Mike Oldfield and the noise made by the right gate of his country house *titti-tiiii* !Moreover he liked (and still likes) to play in music those bass-frequency sounds or those hidden instruments which play in a song! At the age of 6 (or 7, or 8) he has his first performance as a singer, with a known (once) rock band of the place ,Radio Varsavia, singing two of their songs in a square of the little town of Mattinata...he still remembers those moments! From the age of 9 to 12 he stops his musical interests following the mass of friends and doing what a little boy wants to do at his age: play football, hear commercial music, be part in 2 musicals as a "dancer" with other older people! To kill the time, during Scuola Media, he plays the bass horn with the school orchestra! Then, at the age of 13 (or less), thanks to the covers and the music of "Us" by Peter Gabriel and "The lamb lies down on Broadway" by Genesis he comes back to his own way; he starts playing the guitar himself and then his father's bassguitar (now it's Cele's). He decides to take some bassguitar lessons from Maestro Sergio Picucci , and he has to thanks Salvatore Coppolecchia, his music teacher , who believed in his musical skills,those few (without him maybe he would have never made music)! During the summer of 2005 he joins Bottega Degli Apocrifi, the theatre company of his town, and has a seminary with other musicians and actors in Pulsano's Abbey, starting to compose music following scenes and images fed by actors' descriptions (and much more) ! In the same period he starts composing his own music, seriously. During the Autumn of the same year he starts a project with two friends, Francesco Tomaiuolo and Vincenzo Starace, the band is called Terkishnera and they make stuff like klezmer tunes and other music that could be played by a bass, a viola and an accordeon (and sometimes drums). During the summer of 2006 he has his performance with his theatre company , with the show Sette Contro Tebe ; and in August he performs for the first and last time with his band Terkishnera! After the departure of the accordeon player, the project is archived and he starts another musical activity with other two friends...those three guys make the Mellotronk sound, made by experimentations of sounds, voices, rhythms...there he also sings,plays bass and guitar (sometimes keyboards, when he can)! After the departure of the drummer Celestino decides to dedicate his time to his own music , working to more or less 60 tunes made between the 2005 and the 2007! Of these 60 tunes, he took 9 songs (most of them made last year, 2007) which make the album 5/4: the nine songs are linked to themselves through a story which narrates the “adventures” of a boy in search of the place where to reconstruct himself, who goes through surreal and twilight places, real but decadent, spoiled by a chaotic and overpowering society of a little town without pure people who desist from their ambitions to get into a sanctioned world where happiness and peacefulness is only apparent.
At the moment Celestino Telera is in search of someone who may invest on his project "5/4" , from labels, musicians, producers, managers etc...the songs are looking foward to be played as well.
I would like to clarify that the "5/4" project is still in an evolutionary phase, the songs are still demo versions so they don't profusely reflect the sounding idea CT has got in mind ( talking about the need of more overall sounds and more present rhythms , close to the sound with the live band CT is working with . In the project will also be added new tunes ( Keep your umbrella out.., Rats of the Town..) .
