OUT NOW: [SASP001] Chaos Theory - Anything (Ft. David Landers) / Always (Ft. Becky B)
Soul Aspiration Records
"An awful lot going on here, and the debut release from Soul Aspiration records pretty much pulls it off. Chaos Theory's 'Anything' feat. David Landers melds delightful plucked guitar and strings into a stirring roller which suddenly dives into electro-funk territory, complete with strident pop harmonies. Meanwhile, reverse 'Always' feat. Becky B continues the summery guitar-led theme, with another housey electro-tickled nugget splashed with soaring vocals and atmospheric orchestration. Some fine production on show..."KNOWLEDGE MAG MARCH 2009
Chaos Theory… The idea that a small change can result in a large phenomenon. Spawning from a range of musical interests and backgrounds, the boys from Chaos Theory aspire to create this prodigy through the flawless synthesis of their individual sounds and styles, resulting in their definitive sound.
From airtime on Radio Ones 1Xtra show, to live internet radio sets, to live shows in clubs across the UK, Chaos Theory have taken on everything thrown at them so far. They have worked with artists such as David Boomah (Shy FX, Potential Badboy), and have support from DJs such as Crissy Criss, Nerm and Dice from Breakology to name a few. Now out on Soul Aspiration Records, they are set to take the UK and Europe by storm.
Chaos Theory originally began as a single tracked project between DJ Drifta and local guitarist Mike Chung, to create a song combining the raw energy of drum n bass with the harsh yet melodic sound of metal. The result was 10 Scene Points To The Winner, which soon became an anthem in its own right. From this point onward, the only way was forward.
Astounding production techniques matched with an invaluable sense of creativity and musicianship; Drifta, an established DJ and producer, brings the raw energy of drum n bass to life on every track from the Chaos Theory factory.
Mike, an experienced musician and DJ mixes production finesse with originality, inventiveness, and complete lyrical styling, pulling this sound through its highs and lows, pushing it to its edge.
This ultimately becomes the sound known as Chaos Theory.
Driving for perfection in every direction, Chaos Theory will stop at nothing to use these skills to create a masterpiece in a field of its own.

Just another thing man. I wanna start making beats for DJing and for use in the live band when we get it going. I'm getting a mac and I was wondering what you would suggest in terms of software?
Logic Ive heard is the real professional version of cubase (which I used at collage)
On the other hand there's ableton which I can then use with the live band. But I don't know if it is as a strong production tool as Logic.
I'm just wondering what your suggestions are as it's a lot of money I'm gonna be spending. haha.
