Hi, this myspace.com/charliecheney page had thousands of friends and over 10,000 plays and then it got deleted, then someone in Russia stole it, then myspace gave it back.

Hi, I'm Charlie. I'm a performing songwriter. Jackson Browne told me "I love your stuff, it's wonderfully delirious." Pat MacDonald said "I love your really sad songs and your really funny songs." The Capital Times called me "[a] gritty troubadour." Paulie Ryan (Garbage) told me "You're the best songwriter I know, your CD makes me laugh and cry both." Jonathan Spottiswoode wrote "I have now hereby patented the adjective 'charlie cheneyesque' to describe off-beat, dead honest, wacky, and beautifully eery songs."

Since June 2007, songs I've written have been selected for the SteelBridge Songfest compilation CD, the St. John Songfest compilation CD, and the February Album Writing Month compilation CD... and now another is slated for the upcoming SB4 CD this June. all the songs were written and recorded during those festivals and selected on merit, none of the CDs were "pay-for-play."

I released a solo CD "Giant Chicken" (available on iTunes or by mail) in late 2006 and am planning a new CD for 2008. I'm currently booking spring, summer, and fall tours to the east and west.

exactly. im going to see how much money i get for my b-day... which probably won't be much lol. and then i'll see where to go from there. hehhehe im excite! ethan's excited cuz we'll have the same phone. we're such dorks, i know; anyways, yeah i know exactly what u mean i need one too but yeah its the only way to move forward and hey if its true love let it go and if it comes back then ull know for sure!!! and OH I am so jealous that you got to go to Savannah! maybe i'll get to go soon too! i've been saving up my money that i've been getting from taking those survey things online. i'm up to $243 (heh, weird number, i know) so far, so i figure once i hit like a thousand, i'm goin on a va-ca, baby! do em, too! they're like soooo easy. i guess you'll have to type the link into internet explorer or whatever, but here it is:
